Laptops don't come with many ports (ridiculous) ....this hub station sure helped my work flow. Works great.

I work in an industrial facility and often need to connect laptops to various controllers (PLC's) and motor drives (VFD's). I have used the On-Stage and its corresponding unit from Auray, and both of them work great. The On-Stage is a little lighter, which makes a difference when packing it up the stairs. There is adhesive below the clear plastic on the top, and I left the plastic in place. Also, beware of pinch hazards when setting up the base.

Since I carry 2 laptops, one personal and one work, it is great to protect my personal computor. It fits into my rolling case along with my mobile office info.

Until we get laptops with SDI outputs, these work great in the back of a rack! I have 7 of these mounted in a rack with a BMD Constellation 2 switcher. Makes it easy to setup multiple laptops quickly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have three different laptops that might need access to a full workstation depending on if my wife or I are working from home. My personal laptop, my wife's laptop for her grad studies, and my work's thin-client laptop. All of them (and our phones!) work on this dock to drive a multi-monitor workstation. Some are USB-C, others are Thunderbolt over USB-C, and they all work. It's exactly what we need, and has worked perfect!

Honestly, I had seen this type of product advertised in the past and thought, surly, there has to be some issue.. as in, I thought it would either not work with any laptop or it would be flimsy or bad quality of image, I surely was wrong.With the new environment of working from home, I found the need for a second screen, and as I work on a laptop, it would be difficult to say the least to walk around with an actual second screen. Not only that, most laptops now don’t really have the ports to connect a second screen. Most thin laptops have either one usb-a or usb-c port. So when I saw that this secondary screen comes with both cables and a stand on itself (for those like me that do not want to attach it to the back of my laptop with the glued circles and leave marks later on.There are many things to like, the full swivel is super cool, the image and color is great, the easiness to install (no need for a cd) is modern and quick, and the flatness that allows me to pack it away with my laptop for travel... honestly, I’m so happy I went this route!Not only has it helped me in being more productive, I am already considering buying a second one for me and a third as a gift for my partner who will start working from home soon.Considering other options, I think this one offers more at a lower price than competitors. If I were to offer one improvement, is that once you pull the full screen from it’s holster in order to use the screen stand, I found myself lost for a second on how to fold it back in (just cause it looks the same on both sides). Once I figured it out, it’s smooth sailing!Awesome screen - fully recommend!

Very stable and work great with HP laptops. I've tried 7 other USB C hubs and the newer G8 laptops seem to have more issues with those (shouldn't but do). Once I got these docks the issues went away. Fair amount of connections and I like that it has 2 options for monitors. You get what you pay for and these are buy and forget because you shouldn't have any issues.
