For years my work flow has relied on a thunderbolt connection and I was concerned that the new USB type-c/Thunderbolt 3 was going to be a major ordeal to adapt to. It wasn't. All I needed was this adapter. Thanks 5 |

Lots of laptops only come with Thunderbolt/USB C type connectors nowadays, and usually one of them is used to connect the charger to the computer. So if you have the charger connected you lose a port. This device makes it possible to connect the charger and get Ethernet at the same time, and it does that well. I just plugged it in and it worked! Costs much less than some other similar adapters, but as far as I can tell the build quality is still top of the line. 5 |

I bought a Ninja V to record some video from my laptop but it failed to work with Thunderbolt 3 laptops. Once the BMD Video Assist was in stock, I replaced the Ninja with the small VA and it is working perfectly. Great interface (same as my two BMD cameras), not excessively hot even after two hours of recording. It works as a separate monitor or mirror of the screen on any of the laptops I use (MacBook Pro, MacBook Air - both Thunderbolt 3). 5 |

Not much to say about this adapter. It was inexpensive. It works as advertised to connect USB-A/B to USB-C or Thunderbolt. Most new laptops have only one or maybe two USB-A/B ports, and several USB-C/Thunderbolt ports. If you are using older peripherals, you need these adapters to connect. They are much less expensive than buying new, hard to find cables with different connectors. 5 |

A short Thunderbolt cable is all you need for most laptops, or daisy chaining multiple devices. This one fits the bill. 5 |

This is the perfect output device for laptops and computers that have thunderbolt ports. Being able to use both HDMI and SDI allows you to output to almost any device natively. The only thing I could as for would be a output device that has either two hdmi or 2 SDI for alpha output, that way I wouldn't have to get a PCIE enclosure. 5 |

With the newer Dell XPS laptops largely abandoning USB-A ports, wired Ethernet ports, and HDMI/DisplayPort ports, having a dock is pretty much necessary for expansion as many current peripherals are still USB-A. I have an earlier Thunderbolt 3 dock on my work-proved Dell Precision, and it requires 2 cords to the laptop, where this Thunderbolt 4 only requires 1 - and has 130W charging pass-through (from the 180W power brick) so it can keep up even when pushing the machine hard. And I'll be able to hook it up to my wired network for throughput greater than what I can manage with WiFi. 5 |

We have switched a lot of our photo staff to new MacBookPro laptops that only have the new USBC connection ports, this cardreader is what I have deployed to each of them and they work great. Robust construction has held up to our news staff's needs. 5 |
