Large External Hard Disks

These disks are great for backing up my Photo's from my Nikon D800 large file size. I also back-up my software that I have downloaded in case I ever need it again. 40 year warrantee will last longer than I will and the hard surface of the disks makes them hard to scratch. So far I haven't burned a bad one yet. No cons so far, and is the best BD-R I have found so far.

It prevents me from having to carry hard disks around all the time.

Really protects your hard disks, though I'm using them for my harmonicas.

I've used a lot of large external hard drives. Sometimes they fail. But the LaCie drives fail less, in my experience.

This is a nice little external hard drive I use for data backup and transferring large files between computers. No external power is required which makes it very convenient, and it runs completely silent.

I had bought many 2TB external hard drives. Years ago they were large and also had to use power adaptors. The whole thing is a big chunk with two tangling wire cords. Now this drive is very small and quiet and only a USB cord would work for both computers and TVs. The 2TB capacity is decent and allowed on most cable or sitelite boxes and smart TVs.

My external hard drive arrived when expected and in great condition (packaging). It was a little heavier than the Seagate I have, but that's ok. It won't be moved from office. I ordered this large drive for my fiance's laptop, to use as a backup for important files, and to store excess files not being used but once in a while. I needed the 1.5TB because of audio recording files, which are very large and almost wiped out the laptop's small hard drive space. It was a very easy setup, no problems. I was delightfully surprised that I didn't have to deal with WD software telling me what to do, how to setup for backups, etc. I wanted to have full control, and that's what I got. I'm very happy with my purchase, so far. Haven't had for more than a couple weeks, so we'll see how it goes. First WD purchase.
