Laser Based Projector

This was a move up from an Epson 5030ub, so bulb based 1080p to native 4K laser is quite the jump. I’m projecting on a 135” budget 1.0 gain grey screen and the colors, contrast and brightness are spectacular. I sit about 14’ away and the detail and sharpness of the image is so much better than what I was used to. I love that Epson for what it is but this is in a different league. Having only had the projector for a couple of weeks, I’m still playing with different settings and testing various 4K media with my Oppo so still have to spend more time with this to really get to know it. The only con I’ve noticed so far is it can crush some black detail in difficult scenes but I may be able to tease out some image with some adjustment tweaks, not a deal breaker for me but worth mentioning. Also, my old projector was supposed to have a similar lumen rating and had about 900hr on the bulb but this is significantly brighter. Haven’t put the laser past 60 (50 is default) and won’t need to unless I am keeping some lights on in the room. Last thing is it is much quieter than the old Epson and is mounted right above my head so that is also a big plus, hope it stays this quiet.

The EF12 Smart Streaming Laser Projector is better than I expected. The clarity, color, video speed, sound quality and easy to setup. The projector is exactly what I have been looking to buy for years. I also purchased the carrying case and it is worth the money. I expected a cheap bag, this is very high quality. I have recommended this projector to my family and friends. I can wait for summer for outdoor movie night in the backyard.

This laserjet toner cartridge way exceeds my expectations, based on laser printers in the past. HP has a great package, low price, yet high quality in both the printer and these cartridges. The black toner lasted much longer than any ink jet cartridge I've ever used in the same time span. The color toners have not yet needed replacing (3 months, hundreds of copies).

The first two were inkjet based, with our favorite being the Office Jet 7200. This was our first Laserjet All in 1. We own two other HP laser printers. Very impressed with the features so far especially the wireless features.

My boss is currently taking the same presentation all over the institution, so a universal slide advancer/laser pointer has been very helpful. We are Mac-based, but the presentation venues are PC-based. No issues going back and forth! Additionally, our IT team authorized my purchase from B&H because the quote from our preferred vendor was higher! Great all around. Love my logitech peripherals.

I was skeptical about getting this laser printer based upon some of the negative reviews. After receiving it, I am very pleased with its operation and print quality. I have printed envelopes and full color cards on 40# paper with no problems. The setup was easy, but I am using an Ethernet connection versus Wifi. I have not used (nor plan to) the fax and email features. I really like the fact that the manual feed for envelopes, etc. grabs the paper so you know that it will engage when printed. I lost a lot envelopes on my old printer from the mechanism not engaging and missing printing on half the envelope. So far I am happy with my purchase.

I chose this one based on a lot of research and reviews. i chose a laser printer because i use it mostly to print many documents like scripts and invoices. ink would cost me much more on the long run. i have a mac book pro and the set up was super easy. i didn't use the installation cd as it didn't work for mac. but when i called canon, the representative was very helpful and guided me through each step. i was done within less than 5 minutes! the printer works very well and is pretty fast. for this price it is a great deal.

if you are looking for a living room tv replacement, ust laser projector, with incredible design, then just get this! i unplugged my old projector and streaming box, plugged the arc hdmi into my receiver, and was viewing stunning images on a cream wall. i don’t see any rainbow effects, but didn’t on my old dlp either. laser? yes! i am in 2020 finally! vivid colors, needs lowering of contrast, alr screen can only make this better, i don’t need one - i love the lightness. remote is supremely well designed. some early bugs (auto update not working, and bluetooth audio maxes vol between videos). so much more to write, limited by website - it’s magical!

I needed old fashioned overhead projector transparencies for my laser printer. I intend to make printed circuit board iron on etching resists. When something becomes "obsolete" that seems to be an excuse for most office supply stores to price gouge. For less than the price of ten laser transparencies [that I could find any place else on line or off] I now fifty.
