Laser Christmas Light Show Led Projector

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this projector to replace an excellent Epson HD LCD projector. I was attracted to the laser light source and liked that this LG model had two separate colors which I thought would reduce the likelihood of rainbow patterns and indeed I haven't noticed these at all so far. The 4K is crisp and the picture is bright. HDR mode is very noticeable and I like the range of picture options. I use an Apple 4K TV and Xbox Series X so wasn't too interested in the onboard WebOS but its generally pretty responsive and intuitive so probably useful to have. The projected image does have a small thin light border and in super-widescreen 2.35:1 mode there are of course lighter bars at top and bottom; I'm not sure why with all the adaptive dimming technology they couldn't make it go really dark in those areas too, but projecting onto a wall with custom sprayed paint using MissisipiMan's formula in the AVSforum works really well with this projector and still looks better than the movie theater and is a big improvement over the Epson because of the 4K and laser technology, and is now useable in a brighter room. My advice is save your money on the expensive screen and splurge on this projector if you are thinking about it. I do think this technology is a generation ahead of the last and what's nice is it's also LG quality (I knew they made the best LCD IPS panels for computer displays as we have 6 of them, but now find they make really good projectors too) and really nice design and aesthetics. Switching on and off is fast and reliable and ambient noise seems quieter than anything else we have in the media room. We run a 30ft HDMI cable originally intended for 18Gbps through the ceiling and I was glad it didn't have to be replaced and meets all the XBox and Apple diagnostic tests at 4K/60Hz and 1080p/120Hz and works well with ARC sound too, even with a 3 year old receiver.

i wore out my SONY UST laser projector light source (running it 19,000 hours in 6 years) and replaced the projector with the SONY 98" TV. the loss of screen size (from 118" to 98") was more than compensated for by the amazing brillance of the picture.

I bought this laser projector to replace my standard bulb projector. I needed something that would cut through the ambient light and not have washed out images or videos. This is bright and crisp and does exactly what I had hoped it would do. Plus it was easy to install and set up.

The EF12 Smart Streaming Laser Projector is better than I expected. The clarity, color, video speed, sound quality and easy to setup. The projector is exactly what I have been looking to buy for years. I also purchased the carrying case and it is worth the money. I expected a cheap bag, this is very high quality. I have recommended this projector to my family and friends. I can wait for summer for outdoor movie night in the backyard.

They are small but strong. I have hung a small led light and also used two mounts to temporarily mount a projector from a drop ceiling. Con: Wished it came with the nut.

With no other indication than one LED light one does wonder about the unit however; it makes sense to do away with all other displays. There is always a display (TV or projector) connected to operate the unit. I have not found any file format this player can't handle. (I have not tried the 4k up-scaling with my projector) The remote is easy to operate and well designed.

We was looking for a light for a small show we do in the company and the LED ring definitely blow the minds of everyone once that we put it. Giving you the reflection of a star in the eyes, easy to carry on, easy to set up, easy to control. Is durable and catch the attention of everyone around once you begin to film. I recommended to everyone that need to use LED lights on they daily basis, but if you are a hobbyist or you do videos from time to time maybe this light is to expensive. But still, recommended :)

Used it to help clean the sensor. The red light would show more dust, but at times the white led were better for cleaning to apply light into the sensor and mirror box. The loupe was larger than the opening for the lens, but when left above the light and magnification was great and in focus for use.

This is a versitile clamp that we used 3 of them for mounting LED light fixtures for a trade show. The 2 threaded holes provided us with optional mounting as opposed to the stud. B&H will see our business again.

I'm a DJ instead of using it for my laptop I use it to hold my projector to show videos. And it's the perfect size.
