The best option to get into a full-frame camera. Plus the quality of Canon.

This is my first digital full frame camera and the pictures are great. I am impressed with the color rendition even with an overcast sky. The camera is solid and well made and this lens has a good range with very sharp images.

This is a great kit for cleaning you digital camera full frame sensor. There are step by step instructions to follow. Once you've cleaned the sensor one time, it is very to do. Unfortunately, all sensors sooner or later get some dirt on them. This is a safe way to clean your sensor. Very easy to learn to use.

I use this camera as the compliment to my full frame Canon camera. Very good solution.

The Canon RP is my first full frame camera and my first canon camera. The first thing I noticed is the beautiful colors. I use the camera to photograph friends, family, wildlife, and landscapes. It’s not the fastest but it makes sense at this price point. The kit lens is good enough to get excellent quality images. I picked the RP over the R6 because it is lighter. As soon as my budget permits, I will be upgrading to the r8 because it’s light too.

The latest and most unusual addition to my lens bag, the 8-15mm f/4 L fisheye takes extremely sharp pictures which, for a full-frame camera, range from circular (8mm) to full-frame (15mm) fisheye images. And, to my knowledge, this is currently the only lens that does so, which makes its price tag much better than it may initially appear. Personally, I would much rather spend $ on this lens than $600 to $900 a-piece for an 8mm and a 15mm fisheye lens.I get a bit of flare when capturing the sun at an angle 15-30 degrees from the norm to the center of the lens, but this is absolutely expected. In fact, the small width of this window and the low amount of flare are testaments to the optical quality of this lens.

I just received the Sigma fp with 45 mm lens. I spent DOZENS OF HOURS on the B&H website sesrching for a second camera, to add to my Olympus OM D M5 Mark II. I examined throughly Nikon, Canon, Pentax, Fugi, Panasonic, Sony and Sigma. I looked at used cameras as well. I looked at medium format, DSLR, mirrorless, point and shoot, in all sensor sizes. I started with a all metal body Canon F1 in 1975, and stayed witj Canon until the Olympus. My underlying concern was I wish there was a camera, preferably in full frame, which had a simple, button free front. I bought a Sigma 70-200 mm f2.8 lens years ago for my Canon. That is when I switched to Sigma. The Sigma fp with lens caught my attention. The simple exterior layout, small size and Sigma quality. When I saw the previous price of about $2,200 for the Sigma fp and lens, it was a true value. I continued to review and look at cameras. When the price was reduced, the camera and lens was a TRUE VALUE when compared to other cameras. So I.boughr the Sigma fp and 45 mm lens. When I set up the camera, and began trial exposures the quality, simplicity, and value was obivious. The operation of the camera, as well as making selections is so much simpler and less intimidating than other cameras. As cameras have progressed, the size of a full frame camera has become.smaller. A side by side comparison of my MFT with the Sigma fp reveals no large differences between them. After using a MFT for six years, I'm ready to return to a full frame camera.
