Plug and play, no problems. I have always had good luck with Asus products. So far I copied my document and photo files onto double layer blu ray discs and burned a tv movie that was recorded on my hard drive to a blu ray which came out perfect. One odd thing, the enclosed software would not install, I ended up buying version 13 versus the enclosed version 8 of recording software that was included with the drive. No trouble at all with version 13, I have a feeling it had something to do with the changes in the latest Windows 10 version that the version 8 didn't like. Even with that little drawback, I'm very happy with the performance of this drive, just expect to buy some burning software if you are using the latest Windows 10 version. 5 |

This product worked without additional software needed on a Mac with the latest OS software installed, and on a Windows 11 computer with all of the latest updates applied. It works with both my USB A Mac adapter, the USB C connectors on my Mac, and on the USB A connections on my Windows computer. I am able to utilize an older synthesizer that I can now move around the home with ease and connect it to whichever device I need to (even my iPhone apparently). 5 |

I could not upgrade the firmware from Godox through my windows 10. So after a computer professional looked over the situation said that Windows 10 would not recognize the upgrade due to the time Godox wrote the firmware upgrade. He used Windows 7 and the firmware upgrade worked. 5 |

I have hundreds of clients who have equipment with which I occasionally I have to communicate. I use an Apple laptop with the latest OS. Because the client's devices use only PC Windows, I use Parallels to convert to the Windows platform. Then I use the Keyspan serial adapter and a special modem to get the signal onto the phone lines. The Keyspan works every time. 5 |
