I have very little wind noise when I use this with a Sennheiser lavalier microphone.

It’s a piece of foam that’s green. It fits the microphone.

The OLM-10 Omnidirectional Lavalier Microphone by Pearstone is a great little microphone and has fantastic sound for the price. In fact, I use this for allot of different professional interviews with my Canon Mark III for video. A definate must have in your bag to get you by in a pinch, or for regular use! The only drawback is that isn't cordless, but for the price it is worth it!

I bought this microphone as a replacement to the Sennheiser ME2 Omni Lavalier Wireless Microphone System and I have to say, it is amazing quality. I can't even tell the difference between the manufactured Sennhesier and this Pearstone. I use this microphone in corporate studio shoots, in house astrology horoscope shoots, and for weddings. Highly impressed with the sound this lavalier produces for its price.

Sennheiser ME 2 Omnidirectional Lavalier Microphone is one of my favorite microphone that caches the sound of my acoustic musical instruments while I play and sing. I don't have to use two microphones while interviewing someone.

This is my first lavalier microphone. It has a long cord, which is good, because I was considering a more expensive wireless (not needed).

Except for the awful pop screen which is waaay too easy to lose, this is an exceptional microphone for the price.I highly recommend seeking out other pop screens for this double ended lavalier microphone - which u will need 2 of...Otherwise,I have no complaints.Sound quality compares to that of much higher priced Rode lavalier microphones, which also stop working properly a little after 6 months..I haven't had that much time to test the Sony mic,but it will get plenty of testing.I do outdoor wildlife recordings in all kinds of weather conditions and this mic works very well, though it does require other pop screens..

I am really impressed by the innovation of this product at this price point. Rather than try to replicated on the cheap the Shure or Sennheiser wireless systems, this has all the appearance of a new from-the-ground-up product. I needed to have 2 Lavalier microphones wirelessly connected to a small receiver that fits onto the camera hotshot, with a cable connection to the microphone in of the camera (Canon RP since you asked..). Each unit has built-in rechargeable batteries, they charge using a 5V USB C connection, and last more than enough time (hours) before re-charging is needed. This set has two transmitters that feed into the receiver as a single channel (mono) which is fine. Each transmitter has 4 gain settings. They are paired once and for all with their receiver, very easy to do. The camera has a headphone OUT socket, not really needed as the automatic level setting of the camera did a good job even with pauses and outside noise. The transmitters also have a built-in microphone if you do not need the quality and proximity of the Lavalier mikes. Everything was provided in the box, cables and all. Transmission is using 2.4 MHz, this may be an issue in a dense Wi-Fi environment, but I had no problems at home with tens of devices connected.
