Works great and looks great. Wish it had an LCD display with current watts being used.

This display calibration tool does exactly what it says it will do. Easy to use and great calibrated results for my Asus monitor attached to a Mac Studio.

This is dollar for dollar a fantastic HDR mastering display. My external calibration probe tells me the panel will actually hit 2,000 nits over the whole panel which is great! Tons of headroom to work with. Looking forward to the 8K version coming out this year!

I've been using the SW240 as my primary display for a little over two months and I love it. If you bought or are considering buying this display, you are likely a photographer who is interested in producing digital or print images that match the subjects that you captured or in the way that intend them to be seen. The display is connected to my Dell XPS 15 laptop. The primary use is for photo editing and printing using mostly Lightroom and Photoshop. It is the perfect size to fit into the hutch sitting on my desk. BenQ recommends that you calibrate the monitor using their included Palette Master Element software. Results of calibration using the software coordinate with the display's hardware calibration to provide well balanced images. A supported colorimeter is needed. I use a datacolor Spyder X Pro. Other brands are supported, like Calibrite, and are available from B&H. You can consult your B&H expert to get you an appropriate one for your system. A typical display condition is that it comes out of the box too bright. If you print, with or without soft proofing, the resulting printed image is typically too dark. To counteract this I set the brightness/luminance to 80 cd/m2 from the default 120 through the Advanced then Profiling workflow options in the software. I leave the other settings at the default values and then proceed with calibration and validation. There was a noticeable difference of test images printed pre and post calibration. Post calibration prints were better than precalibration prints. This display, after calibration and soft proofing with the correct printer and paper profiles, provides the best rendered prints that I have made.

This is an excellent monitor - I’ve been searching for a good monitor that would have accurate colors for amateur photography. Ever since I upgraded to an iPad Pro with mini-LED technology I knew I’d want a computer display that was able to show dark blacks and vivid colors. The display worked out of the box with my M1 MacBook Pro via Thunderbolt 4. I had my concerns about the self-calibration but it works as advertised - I’m glad I made the purchase. It would be nice to have more extensive documentation concerning calibration and set-up options but I think this display is geared towards professionals who already know this stuff.

This is my first BenQ purchase. Also my first time owning a wide gamut display. Monitor works fine. I have not used the BenQ calibration software yet but rather another tool for calibration. It has nice hotkey buttons to switch between sRGB and two custom settings. I use sRGB for normal operations and then when editing flip to a wide gamut mode.

I got this to connect my phone to the i1 Display Pro Color Calibration from X-Rite. It worked immediately while other cables I had bought from Amazon never did. Highly recommended.
