I decided to try this unique paper out,,great way to try new paper without a large financial commitment.

Use for shot of daughter playing High School soccer and was worried the 200mm lens may not be enough. I had nothing to worry about. I also do alot of outdoor photography and action shots of flyfishing. This set up is fantastic. Very easy to learn to use and the options are limited. To be honest this is more than enough camera for me. But that leaves more to learn and it won't get old.

Use this with the 5DM2 and it's fantastic. Tack sharp images (tip: set your focus to single AF point, and learn to set your f stop accordingly) even wide open at 1.2. Not soft at all like some reviewers mentioned. Just learn better focusing techniques. This lens give incredible smooth and creamy bokeh and amazing depth of field. It'll take shots in extreme lowlight. I never need or want to use a flash with it. This is a specialty lens so treat it as one and learn to use its full potential and you won't regret it. I use this for street photography (although big, its compactness is easy to conceal), beautiful portraits, artistic shots as well as creative landscape photography. It's normal focal point is great for just about everything. If you're also considering the 85mm 1.2 but is concern about the larger size, weight or cost, this smaller sibling can match just about everything minus the longer focal length. The 50mm 1.2 had focus shift issues in the past but it's all corrected and improved in the 2011 versions (mine date code is UZ). I highly recommend this.

The battery is for an older calculator. Back of the calculator indicated a different battery. After opening the calculator took the old battery out and the new one from B&H in it's place. Simple fix.
