Great for anyone looking to do time lapse photography. This is the only safe efficient way to get the job done. Leaving a battery plugged into power for extended periods of time overheats the camera and damages the life of the battery. This eliminates that, thus allowing you to not babe to use any batteries while doing long hours of time lapse or video. 5 |

After leaving my charger plugged into the wall in a hotel, i had to replace it. Though I could have opted for a cheaper after-market option, I was reluctant to mess with the battery or charger with my 5D2 so I spent the money to get the real thing. I will be spray painting my charger with a bright color, though, so i don't leave it behind again. 5 |
