Lecture Recording Studio Setup

I rig a temporary video studio in my library when recording lecture videos. This background is the perfect size. I hang it behind my chair using two light stands (one to hold the center - landscape style - and one to hold a side). I emote in front of the camera and the green screen keys right out of the image.

I use it for two purposes - lecture recording and live music recording. In both cases, it's just amazing.

Sound loud and clear once it is setup in my studio recording.

I used the H6 for a rehearsal recording, a lecture/performance recording and a concert in a small recital space. I was pleased with the quality of the recordings. I was able to record at 96k/24b for over an hour with no battery or memory limitations.

One of the best cardioid dynamic microphone especially when singing. Meanwhile, when giving speech and recording lecture it is good enough to express the tone and emotion. The on/off switch is necessary so I recommend e835S rather than e835 which has no switch.

We use this to control the audio level coming into our cameras from the P/A system when recording in lecture halls and auditoriums. This is NOT meant to regulate the volume between a microphone and a speaker! (It's not supposed to take the place of a standard audio mixer. It also does NOT pass phantom power used by condenser mikes.) Requires no external power. Gives us a last line of defense when the guy assigned to monitor the house mixing board isn't doing his job. Wouldn't go on a shoot without it.

I use this primarily for lecture videos but I have used this for field recording as well. I have been as close as 20' from the receiver and as far away as 120' from the receiver and there has been no deviation in the sound. Also the lavalier mic that comes with this unit is awesome. It's omnidirectional and it gives a great sound. No need to tweak the sound in post. Overall, I am very happy with this wireless system and for the price, it simply can't be beat!

I have had to setup a small recording studio for my church. This lighting kit is perfect - it's flexible and adaptive to my needs. Compact and easy to setup - it's the prefect addition to our space.

I purchased this as a solution for monitoring recording and playback in a small home studio setup and it has worked beautifully. Its nice and compact and has plenty of ins & outs for the needs of a small setup. Plus, after a lot of searching, the price here on B&H was by far the best!
