Reviewing Plustek in general. I own and use the OpticBook A300 Plus (scans up to 12x17, drivers avail for Windows only ATM) and uniquely to Plustek, they scan extremely close to the edge (a few mm), so they are especially suited to book scanning. Other book scanning options such as a scanner/camera mounted on a stand taking photos of an open book, and then re-straightening the images in software look like a bogus approach if you want quality. Stick to Plustek or similar book-specific flatbed scanners. The software Plustek provides is basic. I recommend using 3rd party software (extra cost, sure) - for ex. VueScan (Windows or Mac) supports most/all of the Plustek scanners (after you install Plustek's own drivers) for scanning. And once a book is scanned to images, use something like ABBYY FineReader PDF for OCR/conversion to PDF, Word docx and other formats. You can even make your own ePub's using a process such as VueScan (Mac or Windows) - FineReader PDF OCR (Mac or Windows) - Export to docx - Import docx to Vellum (Mac only) - lots of manual tweaking - Export to ePub. 5 |

With an extended cable for the Hand Controller - this unit becomes very useful for controlled panning & tilting of DSLRs and Camcorders placed outdoor which may be connected (wired & wireless) to an HDMI monitor placed indoors. A DSLR camera fitted with a Super Zoom lens (weighing around 4 lbs) works on this Motorised Head without a problem. This becomes very useful in digiscoping applications which often requires stable focusing and controlled panning & tilting movements. Two very important accessories to buy would be the:- (1) extension chord for the hand controller (2) power chord with adapter for the mains 5 |

I like the fact it has no chord. 5 |

This Lift Vertical Left Handed mouse fits my needs perfectly: great design, quality made, right size for left hand (I am 5'4 male, 140 lb. with regular hand size.) The moment I inserted Lift mouse's USB-A adapter to my iMac 21.5 2017 model, without needing any additional app. installation, it works right away. I am right-handed. I used to use Apple Magic Trackpad with my left hand just to train my left hand, and Logitech MX Vertical Right Handed mouse with my right hand. After more than 6 months, my left wrist started hurting, so I switched the MX Vertical to my left hand and Apple Magic Trckpad to my right hand; My left wrist pain was gone, but using the MX Vertical Right Handed mouse with my left hand was quite awkward: The scrolling wheel, the left and right buttons are not designed for the left hand to use. I am right-handed, but I always use my left hand to do some non-dominant hand tasks just for self-training purposes. Since I started using Logitech Lift Vertical Left Handed Ergonomic Wireless Mouse (Graphite) with my left hand, the scrolling wheel works softly and smoothly, the mouse size fits my left hand perfectly, the left and right buttons are very responsive, moving the mouse on the mouse pad accurately acts on the computer screen. My left wrist feels normal. The price of $69.99 for this Lift Vertical Left Handed wireless mouse is acceptable, and I feel the nice quality and the well design of this mouse is worthy of this price. I will definitely purchase it again and I will recommend it. 5 |

I bought this mainly because I play guitar and wanted to be able to have my entire music library - guitar tab - on the tablet. I originally had the 11 inch version, but it was just too small for this purpose. It is noticeably heavy. So it feels just below a Mac Book Air. If you want to add a keyboard, you might as well get the Mac Book. The Mac Book has additional app support so you really have to understand why you want to use this for. 5 |

Same review for the first book. But left even more inspired. After flipping through a few pages and reading a lot of it I found myself getting inspired about photography which is exactly what the name suggests it should do. It showed that I was doing some things right and some things wrong and I just want to take more photos to see how I can improve. Which is more than I can say for most books I read that seem like text books. It's a nice change. 5 |
