These are a huge step better that the lego man hand style lav clips that come with the UWP system.

I bought a pair of these for the purpose of LEGO miniatures photography, in a micro-studio I'm setting up in the closet beneath the basement stairs. I chose this package for the variety of modifiers more than the GoPro mount itself, although that might prove useful someday. Very happy with the quality of build, simple user interface, and light output.  So far my only wish is for an option for an even lower low setting, noting that the specs made it clear what to expect in this regard. I've uploaded some of my early shots (with the image titles providing detail of the lighting used) - as happy as I am with the results, I will likely add additional lights (LitraPro?) over time to fill out my studio lighting options.

The image shows a close up of a Lego set using the IRIX 150mm lens. In that picture you can see the small rigs in the gray plastic that is not visible by just looking at it.

My main use: Wired to provide nominally 4.5 volts, I use 6 of these to power a Lego motor. They operate the device for at least 3 hours a week for months. The voltage out of the package is about 1.8, which quickly becomes 1.7, then holds at 1.7-1.6 for most of the battery's life. Like all Li-Ion batteries they die suddenly.

Great replacement lamp for all of our instruments.

Haven't used them yet , but am sure they will securely hold my instruments down .
