Works just like it's suppose to. Perfect length for iPhone to car stereo. The 2 right angles are hard to find at this length.

35mm is a very versatile focal length. That's one reason Apple chose it for the iPhone. The color, contrast, depth-of-field and sharpness of Canon's new lens are absolutely incredible!! The images have a look and pop that's almost 3D. It's solid, well built and so nice it is to work with!! The focus ring feels well dampened but doesn't have a really long throw. I haven't used it for video much but manually focusing was very easy. It's weather sealed which helped when I was getting sprayed shooting waterfalls. In short this is an amazing lens!! It's expensive... but worth it!!

This is an awesome lens with the equivalent focal length of the iPhone, so excellent for wide-angle work.

Works to charge and sync my iPhone 5. Great 6 length. My case has a fairly tight lightning connector cut-out and there is no need to remove the case to use the cable.

First, 60W will probably meet your needs in a small video studio. I only use 2-8% of the output. Secondly, a standard modifier platform (Bowens' S mount), has saved me a great deal of time. The lower cost silent heads would only accept barndoors, gaffing tape and aluminum foil. Far Far easier to repurpose old modifiers or purchase new. Previously, I would have to retape the foil at inopportune times. SILENCE is critical for me. Recording a cast once correctly is worth all the post processing in the world. Nothing beats SILENCE.

It takes some getting used to. I always shoot it at EI 100. It has all the tonal range you need right there. It always requires underdevelopment though, anywhere from 8% -15%. The highlights blow out very easily, and this helps control them. Scratches easily, a bit softer than HP5. The lack of grain looks phenomenal at a large scale.
