Lenovo Edge Laptop Flashing Charging Light 50 Remaining

As many others mentioned in the reviews, these batteries are now new old stock, as the newest ones were made in 2022 and will arrive completely discharged. DO NOT give up on them - the charger will initially show an error (chamber and calibration light flashing) - keep taking the battery off and putting it back on, and eventually it will start to charge. The key is to not leave it in the charger if the charger is showing the error code, you have to remove and replace the battery until the charger shows that it is charging (chamber light and 50% light flashing). After a few hours the 50% light should glow solid and 80% should start flashing, and eventually it will charge fully

Let me start with how light this battery is, only 1.2 lbs! That is fantastic! Having a lightweight v-mount battery brick is a game changer. If you've muscled around heavier v-mount batteries on your camera or light or accessory, you know what I mean. It is a night and day difference when you use this battery. It's super lightweight and compact. I would much rather have a few of these than the bulky and heavy alternatives. The battery provides 13A continuous draw, which is impressive and enough for my needs, especially considering its size. It packs quite a punch. It comes with a nice backlit display that shows battery percentage, and when charging shows you the remaining charge time. I love knowing the remaining charge time while charging. It comes with a good amount of ports; D-Tap output, 10A, USB-A & USB-C outputs, and a USB-C charging Input. It also comes with USB-A and USB-C cables which is nice. Having the USB-C charging option is nice if you do not have a v-mount charger. I also like that it has built-in intelligent control circuit to protect against damage from current or voltage overload, overheating, or short circuits. This should extend the life of the battery. I attached this battery to my Genaray Square SQ-60 light and it worked like a champ. And again, having such a lightweight battery on that light was awesome to work with, so convenient. Easy install and a major upgrade from the Lenovo built-in camera on my laptop. Great light correction, solid controls, and great ease of use. Worth the investment.
