Lenovo Thinkpad Docking Station Usb Ports Not Working

This docking station will enable me to use my Lenovo ThinkPad T15 Gen 2 as my main PC if necessary. So, that allows the T15 to perform two functions: travel and primary computing. I tried it out and it works great.

I’m able to use my laptop, phone, speaker and any other device I want. I wish the docking station was more sturdier. This Plugable docking station is equipped with 1x USB-C port for 5Gbps data and 20W charging, 4x USB 3.0 5Gbps ports, Gigabit Ethernet, an SD Card Reader, and audio in/out ports. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This docking station is small in size and yet powerful. It comes with a 300W supply so it can power the laptop and provide USB power as well. It has 3 USB 3.0 ports and 1 lightening (USB C) port on the back and 1 usb port and 1 lightening port on the front. It also has 2 Display Port, 1 HDMI Port connectors and an RJ-45 connector on the back. The lightening connector on the back can also be used for a USB C monitor. There are not enough usb 3.0 ports on the back. I'm used to docking stations that connect to the laptop via a connector on the bottom of the laptop. These have more USB ports than this docking station. The double connector used to connect this to my laptop is a little clumsy but the docking station serves it's purpose.

The IOGEAR 4PORTS USB HUB works well with my HP Docking station. I needed more ports for my HP DVD RW, HP Speakers, and my 2 TB External hard drive. Excellent choice and compatibility.

This particular docking station has just about everything that you need within its housing. Here is a list of all the items that are included USB-C ports, 5 total USB ports, 2 HDMI ports, 2 display ports, headphone input, microphone input, SD, and microSD card, input port.
