Lenovo Usb 3.0 Dock Charge Laptop

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased a MacBook Air a couple of years ago and have been struggling with a way to connect my various peripherals. I have purchased multiple connectors but always have a hard time locating them when needed. This docking station is a great way to add much needed ports to my MacBook all in one convenient location. The sleek look and finish paired well with my MacBook Air and fit neatly in my laptop bag. There is a non-slip grip on the top of the dock which allowed the laptop to stay in place providing an optimal position and angle for typing. On the bottom of the dock there were adhesive strips that could be used to adhere the dock to the laptop if so desired. The dock get hot when fully loaded and offers all of the basic ports one might need (3.5 mm audio headphones/microphone/audio recording, VGA, MicroSD 3.0, SD Card 3.0, Gigabit Ethernet (RJ45), USB 3.0 (BC1.2)/USB 3.0/USB 2.0, 4K DisplayPort/4K HDMI, 100W PD 3.0 (no data). The wired internet port is a must for a fast and stable internet connection. It doesn’t charge your laptop but it charges your connected devices such as a cellphone or tablet. The one thing I would change would be the length of the connector cord for the USB C. The short cord makes it hard to connect and keep the laptop positioned on the dock. Once in place, the laptop will stay in place. I recommend this product as it provides ample peripheral connections, is durable and provides the quality that is expected from the Belkin name.

Bought a new Lenovo ThinkPad, E16 Gen 1, along with a ThinkPad Universal USB-C Dock v2. The dock gave me constant Device Disconnect issues dealing mainly with the ethernet port. Replaced that dock with an identical dock and it had the same issue. Tried an iVANKY dock that my support folks had and it worked perfectly. So, I purchased an iVANKY dock for $100 less than the Lenovo dock and it's been great. Lenovo kindly reimbursed me for their dock which didn't work.

A compact, weighty and well designed dock. I like the ability to charge my Envy laptop vis the USB C port. Not sure why the AC adaptor has to be so large and heavy - seems at odds with the svelte design of the docking unit.

My laptop has 2 USB-C ports, this dock allows me to use my older pc accessories and charge the laptop when needed. The form raises the computer to a more comfortable typing position.

I purchased this dock after 2 failed attempts to use a Lenovo Universal T4 dock on my new Lenovo T4 laptop. Just plugged the CalDigit in, connected a monitor and several accessories and it worked perfectly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this to make a workstation for my Lenovo X1 Carbon laptop. I selected it primarily so that I could run 3 monitors. This dock has 1 HDMI and 2 display ports. I appreciate the USB and USB-C ports to connect auxiliary devices. At first, I thought the dock was a little large as it is larger than the one I replaced, but the size was OK when I put it in my cable management tray. The cords were long enough to allow plenty of space for my setup and I was able to keep excess neatly wrapped with the original wire tie. I haven't had any issues with it. It has been simply "plug and play" outside of updating any drivers.
