[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had forgotten why I liked the X1 carbon series so much; I was a Surface user for many years, but this time I decided to give Lenovo another try. I’m absolutely happy to have done it; the performance of this laptop is far superior to my surface, it feels lighter and the battery last longer that I have needed to so far. The screen looks great and the Lenovo View functions are awesome. It reminds me to keep a proper posture and warns me of incoming onlookers! I am definitely happy with this purchase, it can run Witcher 3 with low graphics at 30 fps without problems. Not a gaming laptop, but an overall balanced laptop for work and personal use. 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this to make a workstation for my Lenovo X1 Carbon laptop. I selected it primarily so that I could run 3 monitors. This dock has 1 HDMI and 2 display ports. I appreciate the USB and USB-C ports to connect auxiliary devices. At first, I thought the dock was a little large as it is larger than the one I replaced, but the size was OK when I put it in my cable management tray. The cords were long enough to allow plenty of space for my setup and I was able to keep excess neatly wrapped with the original wire tie. I haven't had any issues with it. It has been simply "plug and play" outside of updating any drivers. 5 |
