For the first time I really feel as though my system is performing at the level it should. Moved up from an Onkyo 6100 and have had several surround systems from Denon and others over the years. Last system I moved to a 5.1.2 setup. It didn't really pop until the RZ50. 5 |

Worked perfectly. Connected my HT receiver 'LFE' channel to external amp 'XLR' for a passive sub. No 'hum'. Thick cable. seems durable. 5 |

Purchased two months ago as an upgrade from an Onkyo. I had heard about the Marantz sound and was intrigued..I run a 5.1 system with zone 2 and hoped this amp would be sufficient given the 50w rating. Boy, was I happily surprised. This amp delivers clean pure power, not gimmicky numbers and man, the sound is very sweet, nuanced and dynamic when it calls for it.I will definitely be investing in Marantz external amplification at some point and utilizing the slimline as my processor only.Kudos to the engineers, you have gained a Marantz fan for life 5 |
