Lg 27 Inch 5K Monitor

This monitor is really amazing. I had a moment of this is what color looks like?! at first, similar to when I got higher end speakers and said this is what music sounds like?!. I learned a lot about WOLED (current LG tvs) vs true RGB OLED (this panel) and how JOLED makes this specific display. Prior I had a 27 inch HP (S2721QS) and the main use is a workstation PC working from home and occasional light gaming. While the monitor is way overkill for my use (I don't do content creation or color correction), I love it and have no regrets even when considering the steep price point. That's just how it is right now given the manufacturing of this size OLED hardly exists. Sadly this is not as bright as my HP but blows it away in everything else. The viewing angles are crisp and improved and while I previously thought 27 inches was perfect for a workstation, I am now sold on the 31.5 inch size. I have enabled dark mode on every application and website that I can and the colors are just electric and amazing. The stand is ugly at the base but still nicely functional, I have the LG mounted on an Ergotron HX Desk Monitor Arm and even though the LG is far below the weight minimum it works just fine. At first I was confused why the bezels are so large but I've realized it needs some form of casing and it benefits from the large casing when I grab the monitor and move/tilt it on the monitor arm. I could do without the USB hub integrated and my real only dislike of this monitor is the noise the settings menu navigator makes upon pressing. Yes OLED monitors will get less expensive but sadly it will take a lot more time, and by that time micro LED or QDOLED might be the successor. Again, the size, the pixel density, the experience using this in the evening, the HDR, it's all just gorgeous.

I like this light because it easily slips over a 27-inch LG monitor and is controlled by Logitech G-Hub software on my Mac. It is easily dimmed and adjusted for color temperature. Offers a very subtle warm glow. I've tried other lights and like this one best. Recommended.

I'm typing this review on my iMac (retina 5K, 27-inch, 2020) which stores all our current files. The Gator case was purchased so that the next time we have to evacuate in front of a hurricane, we can put our most important computer in the car. This case is well constructed without being unwieldy. This morning I rehearsed packing (and unpacking) the iMac and found the process quick and easy. Much easier than dealing with the box in which Apple shipped the iMac originally. Very satisfactory!

These SODIMMs were purchased to upgrade my new iMac 5K 27-inch i5 3.5 GHz machine (2017) from the delivered 8 MB memory configuration to 24 MB of memory. These SODIMMs met the electrical and mechanical specifications found in the Apple documentation for my model and were easily installed without issues. The new memory was properly detected upon the next power-up and has performed �flawlessly as expected so far. The memory kit price was competitive and my prior experience with Crucial memory has been completely positive.

I bought an 27 inch 5k Retina iMac from BH, but it comes without a superdrive. The USB superdrive is well designed and not much bigger than a cd. I have movies that I can now watch on the marvelous screen.

This Crucial ram operates flawlessly in our iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, 2020). I had previously gone through the trouble of purchasing two 32GB sticks of OWC branded ram from Amazon and was left with nothing but crashes, even after trying to reposition the ram multiple times with no changes to the problem. This Crucial ram works perfectly the first time, with no issues in two weeks of usage. B&H provided great service by having the best pricing, packaging the ram properly with no risk of damage, and shipping quickly. Could not ask for more, for those with a 2020 iMac purchase confidently in a working ram combination.

When you get the iMac 27 inch 5K push to the top of build to order by Apple you must get this unit to reach the full potential of an editing workstation build around an iMac 5K (Late 2015).

I am using it to connect a 27 inch secondary monitor with no issues.
