Lg 29 Inch Curved Monitor With Ips Panel

Bought this one to replace an 5-year old 29 Dell monitor. Love the screen size with IPS and decent color. Good for long-hour working. The only downside is not height-adjustment. HIghly recommend those who wants a simple HD monitor with big size. 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a 29" curved monitor first and it was starting to do things monitors do when they have had enough of life, so I went shopping for a new one. First I tried an LG Ultrawide flat but ended up donating it to my husband for gaming as I really missed the curve and the ease of peripheral vision in gaming. Then I started working from home, and while most of my colleages have 2 or 3 monitors scattered around their workspace, I have 1, simplifying my life. It's kinda big, I don't recommend it for just any space, I affectionately refer to it as my surfboard, but it's a great monitor and I'm glad I went for it. 5 |

Beautiful. This monitor is absolutely beautiful. From the moment you unpack it till you finish using it for the day, this is just a gorgeous piece of equipment. Positives: - Amazing to look at… even when off - No eye strain, even after a 10 hours of constant use - Great connection options - Fast refresh times - Excellent resolution - Curved Negatives: - Back cover for cord management is flimsy - Expensive This monitor replaced two IPS 19’’ monitors. When using those, I had noticed that I could not sit in front of them for a long time; but with this Samsung monitor, I can spend an inordinate amount of time without any eye strain or feeling uncomfortable. While a curved TV seems like a gimmick, using a curved monitor is absolutely amazing. You sit close enough in front of the monitor that having a curved screen actually seems to “envelop” your view. The colors are comparable to the older IPS monitors, but the single wide screen monitor really makes everything immersive as there is no “break” in content. The biggest negative that I could find is the price. This is an expensive product, no way around it. The other minor quibble is that in order to “hide” the power and connection cord in the back of the monitor, the back plastic plate is really flimsy and can easily fall out as there isn’t a locking / snapping mechanism. Fortunately, once set, this becomes a moot point. I recommend this for anyone looking for a top of the line monitor. 5 |

Awesome IPS monitor. One of the best IPS I've seen over the last 10 years. This could be a symbol of peak IPS before OLED tech swamps the market. PLUSSES: - Great out of the box experience. It just works. sRGB mode looks pretty good and colors appear saturated. Bright enough too. - 260hz works. No DSC needed. Frametimes are jittery at 260hz, but there's also a 250hz mode that works better. - G-Sync works quite well up to 240hz with minimal tearing. Very good implementation. I can't say the same with other monitors. For 240hz monitors, OLED included, I often had to cap FPS at 220 or lower to make G-Sync stop tearing. - Low input lag. Responsive feeling. - Power supply is integrated into the back of the panel. No power brick. - The matte coating is not too aggressive. I've seen a lot worse. This is tame. - Professional looking design from the front. MINUSES: - IPS glow. Backlight bleed seems to be inescapable with IPS, even this panel. The glow starts at the corners then slowly creeps around. For now, the center of my panel has no glow. - Bad contrast. Bad contrast seems to always be a thing with IPS. - ELMB sync doesn't work well. I didn't care. - HDR performance is mid at best. OVERALL: This thing slaps for a monitor priced under $400. It's a relief to find a banger IPS monitor that just works. Don't have to deal with the gimmicks of early-gen OLED monitors. 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Say hello to my, not-so-little-and-curved, friend! I am reviewing the 32" curved LG Monitor, and let me tell you.. It's been awesome! I have used it for both casual tasks and more intense tasks. Casual tasks like social media, web-browsing and watching some videos. This is done very easily and the screen is perfect for this. I have also used it for more intense tasks like video editing, spreadsheets, and a little bit of coding. I like the size of the monitor and changing the settings that it is easier on my eyes as I stare and this curved goodness for the better part of my days. The only thing I would say if you're looking to get this monitor is that you pay attention to the display resolution.. it took me by surprise at first because it felt like even though the screen is quite large I couldn't quite "fit" everything I wanted on it with multiple windows or tabs open at once. So that would be the only thing I would say about it that made me go, "hmm". Other than that, I love this monitor. It has built in speakers which allow you to have a much cleaner desk and set-up. I recommend this monitor to those looking for a big curved monitor and wanting to assurance of buying from a company that we all know and can appreciate, LG. 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Samsung Viewfinity S7: A Professional's Dream The Samsung Viewfinity S7 is a sleek, modern monitor designed to elevate productivity and visual experiences. With its stunning 4K UHD resolution, HDR10 support, and an IPS panel, this monitor delivers exceptional image quality that's perfect for professionals in fields like graphic design, video editing, and photography. One of the most impressive features of the Viewfinity S7 is its color accuracy. The IPS panel ensures wide viewing angles without compromising color fidelity, making it ideal for collaborative work or presentations. The HDR10 compatibility further enhances the visual experience, delivering deeper blacks, brighter whites, and more vibrant colors. In terms of design, the Viewfinity S7 is a minimalist masterpiece. Its thin bezels and sleek lines create a modern aesthetic that complements any workspace. The adjustable stand allows for optimal viewing angles and ergonomic comfort, reducing eye strain during long hours of work. Connectivity options are plentiful, with HDMI, DisplayPort, and USB-C ports ensuring compatibility with a wide range of devices. The USB-C port even supports power delivery, allowing you to charge your laptop while connected to the monitor. While the Viewfinity S7 is undoubtedly a high-quality monitor, there are a few minor drawbacks. The refresh rate is limited to 60Hz, which might not be ideal for gamers or those who require the fastest possible response times. 5 |

This is a very good high hz fps monitor. Not the best since it's a ips panel rather than a TN panel but trade off is slower pixel response times but much better colors and view angles. Elmb aka black bar insertion works perfect and helps with blur and eye strain. Make sure you have a graphics card that can maintain 280 fps min and a good quality display port wire. 5 |

Great monitor for gaming and productivity. Being an IPS panel the colors are great but with the downsides of having less contrast when compared to a VA panel. Pick your poison I guess. Overall I am very happy after having switched from a Samsung G9 which while impressive was just too big for my desk. 5 |
