Its a gaming monitor but I picked it up due to high image quality scores - I mostly use it for software development and day to day browsing. The color overall isn't as accurate as some might like for a productivity daily driver but its more than accurate for my needs with fantastic viewing angles and really clean text rendering. I was worried that gaming would pale in comparison to my PS5 connected to an LG OLED but I was pleasantly surprised to see that while OLED is king for contrast ratio and deep colors this monitor overall looks amazing and doesnt disappoint like most when you finish a gaming session on an LG.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] LG has delivered once again the best OLED display of the year. This display has the deepest blacks I have ever seen. The gorgeous aesthetics and sleek design just makes it a complete package. When I turned on the display for the first time I thought why isn’t it turning on. Then the LG display logo appeared on the screen and I was like what!?!??! The monitor was on the whole time as it was booting to Windows. I was using it in the windows atmosphere and I have to say the 240 Hz was buttery smooth. Checking videos for comparison against my own old monitor just blew it out the waters. This monitor is for those who want the best.

This monitor is really amazing. I had a moment of this is what color looks like?! at first, similar to when I got higher end speakers and said this is what music sounds like?!. I learned a lot about WOLED (current LG tvs) vs true RGB OLED (this panel) and how JOLED makes this specific display. Prior I had a 27 inch HP (S2721QS) and the main use is a workstation PC working from home and occasional light gaming. While the monitor is way overkill for my use (I don't do content creation or color correction), I love it and have no regrets even when considering the steep price point. That's just how it is right now given the manufacturing of this size OLED hardly exists. Sadly this is not as bright as my HP but blows it away in everything else. The viewing angles are crisp and improved and while I previously thought 27 inches was perfect for a workstation, I am now sold on the 31.5 inch size. I have enabled dark mode on every application and website that I can and the colors are just electric and amazing. The stand is ugly at the base but still nicely functional, I have the LG mounted on an Ergotron HX Desk Monitor Arm and even though the LG is far below the weight minimum it works just fine. At first I was confused why the bezels are so large but I've realized it needs some form of casing and it benefits from the large casing when I grab the monitor and move/tilt it on the monitor arm. I could do without the USB hub integrated and my real only dislike of this monitor is the noise the settings menu navigator makes upon pressing. Yes OLED monitors will get less expensive but sadly it will take a lot more time, and by that time micro LED or QDOLED might be the successor. Again, the size, the pixel density, the experience using this in the evening, the HDR, it's all just gorgeous.

My first OLED experience has been quite tremendous, I really adore this monitor, thank you LG! Firstly and most importantly the burn in control or OLED image clean feature is my favorite! I have a complete peace of mind! I can manually refresh it myself, takes about five minutes. The picture quality and color is jaw dropping. The design is perfect in my opinion all the way through it’s stand. The RGB lighting is a very nice touch if you fancy that. I spent a good deal of time looking for an excellent OLED monitor, I am very happy to have been here to find this thang! I got this on sale but I would pay full retail, is worth it in my opinion. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had this monitor for just over a month and have zero complaints about it. Super easy to setup with either the included stand or a monitor arm that I bought separately. There is nothing like an OLED display. My primary TV is an LG OLED and I saw this monitor was on sale and decided to jump on the deal. I have no regrets. The image quality is superb and the build quality is fantastic! I was a bit apprehensive about the 800R curve but after some adjustment I don’t even notice it anymore. Screen burn-in was a concern but given LG’s warranty for it and the screen cleaning function that auto runs after long sessions has eased my nerves about it.

Prior to this monitor I was using an LG 1440p IPS monitor. The coloring on the OLED is game changing, and not only just for gaming, the coloring is great for video editing/photo editing as well. Comparing this monitor to my previous one I can't go back after seeing how the tonality in colors are more grayish in an IPS monitor. I'm really happy with my purchase and glad to see that OLED monitors are the future. I bought this monitor along with a friend and have already recommended it to other people in need of a new monitor!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow did I make a great choice!!! I upgraded my monitor from an Asus ROG Swift PG35VQ 1440p 200hz panel to this LG OLED and wow am I impressed. I went from a 35" screen to a 27" but after a few days I didn't notice the size difference. My games look amazing the 240hz refresh rate is blazing fast especially in faced paced online FPS games and the HDR is amazing. The pixel cleanup works like a charm and I have no issues of burn in or anything. I've had this monitor for 3 months and I am loving every minute of it. Highly recommend this display and LG is superior in the OLED market. My TV is a LG OLED EVO at 55" and when I connect my PC to it, it's still a fun and enjoyable gaming experience.

I've had a few monitors in the past and have an OLED Samsung TV and this monitor is by far the best monitor I have ever used. 4k and 240hz looks amazing if my computer is able to output that much. I tried out the 32" alienware and other 27" ones but the anti reflective coating is where it's at. Plus now I'm hearing glossy OLED are prone to micro scratches. I'm very happy with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone that's looking for a high end gaming monitor.
