I got this today and it works great with my cell phone, it even came with a 3.5mm to 3.5 mm cable for cellular use...I was surprised..also do yourself a favor..install the gain jumpers as stated in the directions..it will give you more audio on a noisy day. HTH

I was slightly reluctant to spend so much money on an LG laptop, as they're not known in the US like some other brands. However, reviews from multiple sources raved about this machine. I am so glad I went with it. I have absolutely no complaints. It's fast as hell, incredibly lightweight and lives up to all the great reviews I've read. I would definitely buy another if I had the need.

I had some serious issues getting this working and turns out it’s best if you turn off your cellular service on your phone while doing the setup. Worked like a charm for me on multiple devices. A new update also improved integration with Apple HomeKit. Very happy with it now.

I have a cellular phone based app that I use for my intercom. So I use these so my camera ops in the field can clamp them to the camera tripods and put the phone right in front of them. They work awesome. Highly recommend and will be buying more.

This microphone has great audio as long as the phone is in airplane mode. If it is not, any communication over the cellular antennas causes the ticking and distortion other reviewers have mentioned. When in airplane mode though, the audio is clean. I prefer to shoot video in airplane mode anyway so my recordings are not bothered by text messages or phone calls. So, this is no big deal for me. I love the mic and the build quality.

Since the TG-4 will focus as close as 1/2 inch with its standard lens, the basic flash is not able to properly illuminate the scene. Traditional alternatives may involve external lights that would reduce the convenient, portable aspect of the camera. The LG-1 clips to the lens mount and redirects the camera's internal flash into the ring that diffuses the light, keeping the total package simple and portable.
