Lg Front Load Washer Burnt Rubber Smell

RTFM folks. Understand what this is, and how it works (very simple): it is NOT a FILTER, it is a ZAPPER. There is no filter element, only an electric element that zaps and kills the following: mold bacteria, virii (aka viruses) dust mites and their poop (aka what we're allergic to when we sneeze) These are semi passive, and as far as I can tell don't really have a fan to speak that makes noise therefore they are NOISELESS!, they draw cool are in the bottom and spit out hot air up top along with the dead carcasses of the above that aren't burnt to a crisp or burnt onto the element. I know some people complain of smell, I wonder if those are rooms that don't have any sort of filters and are especially full of particulates. It would make sense. I haven't experienced a smell (other than the break-in of the plastic getting warm). I do also vacuum and have multiple air filters in the house. I think of these as complimentary to air filters, but more specifically for people are afraid of contracting illnesses. Go to the site, tons of research with links to the articles. Breath safely, don't burn wood. 5 |

Blows air, works well. No rubber smell. 5 |

Excellent media by Verbatim. I always trust Verbatim brand. I burnt all 50 and no coasters on my LG drive. I had to make copies of my daughter's dance performance and had to distribute to the parents and these are very reliable and high compatibility with various DVD/BD players. 5 |

The rubber washer makes these day in place better than some others I've used. Buy a couple of extra, you will need it sooner or later. 5 |

I think the rubber washer is the trick for making this a secure way to attach a carry strap 5 |

The rubber adaptor is the best thing about this adaptor. It doesn't happen often, but I have had metal stick to metal making it hard to unscrew. The rubber washer takes care of this issue. This all metal adaptor is a great tool for my studio and on the rare occasions I'm doing a gig with musicians. Because they're easy to lose, I'd consider getting more than one. [I have received this product in exchange for my honest review] 5 |

To me, the mounting screw is installed backwards! The thin rubber washer can be removed, and the screw and bushing reversed. This way the binoculars will balance better on the tripod and the tripod and binoculars can be placed closer to you for better comfort 5 |

Out of the box, the rubber smell is pretty strong - but it will go away in a week or two. The quality of the rubber is better than others. It stays flexible even in low temperatures. I have several other B+W rubber hoods, and they are all durable. 5 |

Why a soft release? From the moment I started using one years ago, I was hooked. I just find it much more comfortable than to go without one. Now on to this Leica model. Yes, I realize that these soft releases are laughably expensive for what they are. But the cheap ones I've used would always find a way to work themselves off, no matter if I used a rubber washer or not. So, unhappy with the performance of the bargain priced buttons I've always used in the past, I begrudgingly parted with my money and gave this OEM button a try on my M11. This is the first time I've had a soft release where I didn't immediately start wishing it were designed differently. The simple M is unobtrusive and sleek, not attention-grabbing and conspicuous. And it screwed on tightly and securely, and the knurling around the edge really makes a difference. Honestly, even without a rubber washer, it is tighter and more secure than any other brand I've tried. Ultimately, I finally feel like I've found my forever soft release. Thus, the high price might actually be a wash, considering my never-ending search among the cheaper brands. 5 |

I have only used a Black Rapid strap for the past few years and the rubber washer is starting to wear out from switching between the strap and tripod mount. I bought this to replace it and couldn't be happier. 5 |
