I had a different USB 3.0 6' cable that it was connected to my ProGrade CF Express B/SD and my Mac Pro 2012/High Sierra. Each time I inserted the CF Express card (SanDisk) my Mac was coming up with strange massage telling me that this disc although is readable but needs to be formatted or something to that order after some trial and error I found out that culprit is my USB cable! I decided to change it to a 3' USB 3.0 by Pearstone I had so I gave it a try that worked like a charm! no error and no unexpected dismounts from the desktop! I ordered the 6' USB 3.0 cable by Pearstone and this one works fine too. I am happy. 5 |
