There is so much to explore with schedules and sensors, it's truly an amazing thermostat. It's so easy to control your home temperature whether you're inside or outside your home. The SmartSensor - that remotely monitors occupancy and temperature does not come with it. You can easily purchase that and other cool accessories that can enhance your experience with the thermostat.

I think the Nest Thermostat is an amazing product and adding these temperature sensors to the rooms that you want to control the temperature in just makes sense. Why keep the living area at a certain temperature when everyone’s in bed? May as well use the sensor in your room to control the temp! Makes sense to me.

To me the nest sensor helps you control the temperature in your house by allowing you to use it as the sensor that determines when your thermostat kicks in the furnace Etc this could be handy for many reasons you're in an old home your TV Etc are running close to the thermostat which increases the heat in that area so with the temperature sensor you can move it to a different location and use it

The Nest Temperature Sensor is a great way to measure another temperature in the house for either warmer or cooler temperatures. Bedroom, upstairs, basement, etc. Ties in to the main Nest thermostat. You can pick to set the desired temperature based on the sensor, or schedule different temperatures. Have it run off the sensor at night, and off the thermostat in the day. Very easy to set up.
