I was familiar with this lens before I purchased it and it has not disappointed. It has excellent build quality and its optics seem well above average. It's an excellent walking-zoom not too large and comfortable to hold and operate. Having switched to Fuji a couple of years back I continue to be impressed by their quality products, attention to detail and value. Along the same lines I purchased this lens from B&H after having used their customer chat resource. The B&H CSR was straight forward, helpful and courteous clearly indicating he wanted my business. As such I had this lens imported into Canada using the B&H Customs Service as they included a complimentary decent quality lens filter and Lens Cleaning Kit all for less (Including customs handling/duties/taxes/shipping) than I could have bought the lens for here across town. As impressive was the FedEx delivery service which promptly kept me informed as to the delivery status of my order. So I ended up with a quality product, excellent courteous service and prompt delivery while avoiding the take-it-or-leave-it local vendor attitude(s) and Canada Post bumbling...so that's why I'm a Happy Canuck...I bought my gear from B&H! 5 |
