Lg Short Throw Laser Projector Review
Spicy Saturday Boy | 2024-07-28 03:45:49 |
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I own LG projector PB60G is my first and still use till today as daily watching projector in 100” size screen in dark room. I really like this projector because it very small portable but still give good picture quality. However many technology change many of other media player devices now are capable of driving higher resolution beyond what my projector capable. Then i’m looking for upgrade my projector and what i’m looking for now is ULTRA SHORT THROW 4K LASER PROJECTOR. I search through many brand there are some cheap 4k projector but not liked or laser, some Chinese UST 4k laser project but I don’t like Android OS that come with it. Now LG has HU85LA that i’m looking for and still waiting for it’s coming out. So exciting about this projector. 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this projector to replace an excellent Epson HD LCD projector. I was attracted to the laser light source and liked that this LG model had two separate colors which I thought would reduce the likelihood of rainbow patterns and indeed I haven't noticed these at all so far. The 4K is crisp and the picture is bright. HDR mode is very noticeable and I like the range of picture options. I use an Apple 4K TV and Xbox Series X so wasn't too interested in the onboard WebOS but its generally pretty responsive and intuitive so probably useful to have. The projected image does have a small thin light border and in super-widescreen 2.35:1 mode there are of course lighter bars at top and bottom; I'm not sure why with all the adaptive dimming technology they couldn't make it go really dark in those areas too, but projecting onto a wall with custom sprayed paint using MissisipiMan's formula in the AVSforum works really well with this projector and still looks better than the movie theater and is a big improvement over the Epson because of the 4K and laser technology, and is now useable in a brighter room. My advice is save your money on the expensive screen and splurge on this projector if you are thinking about it. I do think this technology is a generation ahead of the last and what's nice is it's also LG quality (I knew they made the best LCD IPS panels for computer displays as we have 6 of them, but now find they make really good projectors too) and really nice design and aesthetics. Switching on and off is fast and reliable and ambient noise seems quieter than anything else we have in the media room. We run a 30ft HDMI cable originally intended for 18Gbps through the ceiling and I was glad it didn't have to be replaced and meets all the XBox and Apple diagnostic tests at 4K/60Hz and 1080p/120Hz and works well with ARC sound too, even with a 3 year old receiver. 5 |

Using to store/transport a 3500 lumen ultra short throw projector with an integrated mirror.. Pelican Case holds it securely with no worries that it will be jarred in transport or storage.. Build quality is excellent and the foam inserts were easy to customize for the perfect fit. 5 |

This projector has made our basement into a fun home theater. We have limited space so the short-throw lens makes a big image without needing to place the projector far back from the wall. The image quality is bright and crisp. Highly recommend for a small home theater. 5 |

Great value for all that this projector has to offer. Lot's of Lumens, Low Price, Short Throw, and No Bulb was all I needed. Only complaint is the new remotes that are too small for my liking. Filled my 9'x12' screen from 6' away B&H is the best online vendor that I have dealt with as a school district tech director for over 20 years. 5 |

Needed a projector for a conference at work, and came across this unit. I like the short throw, I dont need a long distance to get the images to show up on a 45x80 screen. We used it for two days straight without powering it down, and it held up great. Its quiet, light weight, compact foot print. Projected image visible from the back of a 50ft conference room! 5 |

I needed a short throw projector and this fits the bill. I was amazed by the sound quality for a projector. I have only used for the Wii and watching movies at this time and not a big enthusiast on gaming or 3D at this time. However, it does a great job for what I do. For the price it gives me what I need and future capabilities. I have not owned it for very long, so can't give you a bulb life expectancy. 5 |

Let me start by saying I was skeptical to go with this projector because I didn't think it would blow me away at this price, and I have a great VAVA 4K ultra short throw projector (which I'm selling now). This was the best move I ever made! Now that I have this new projector with zoom, pan and tilt adjustment knobs, I will never get a projector again without these features! Because of this flexibility, I'm able to achieve 165 screen in my living room at just about 14.75 feet! Insane! In order to get 150 screen from the VAVA, it has to sit too far from the screen and then it's sitting in the middle of the room. (I dont recommend an ultra short throw unless you have 14ft ceilings or higher because it's the only way to get a huge screen while having it sit not too far from the screen/wall. With the images size I'm getting now, it's like I have an IMAX screen in my living room. Picture is amazing! Looks like real 4K even though this scales 1080p to 4K like most projectors under a certain price (the VAVA scaled to 4K too and it cost nearly $3k). I can't tell the difference! Very sharp. Great color. Great black levels. You just can't beat this quality at this price! No way! Look really pro. The remote is really cool too. The keys light up when you press them which is very helpful at night. Came with batteries too. When you turn off this unit, it automatically covers the lens which is so cool! BUY IT!!! I highly recommend it! But do your research first and read everything about to make sure it's for you. This thing is just sexy! Not heavy either. The body looks like a $20,000 Sony projector. I'm in love! (I'll try to get pictures up in the near future. Too busy right now.) 5 |

The short throw projector is an impressive piece of technology for any home theater enthusiast. The short throw ratio makes it pretty ideal for my small living room. The image quality of this short throw projector is outstanding, with crisp and vibrant colors that truly bring action movies to life. The high-resolution and high brightness ensure that even in well-lit rooms, the picture remains clear and sharp. The built-in speakers also deliver way better than average audio, I'm still on the fence about getting an additional sound bar to augment but I'm genuinely impressed that the stock speakers are as good as they are. 5 |

This table mount is used for my Epson short throw, interactive projector. It is well built in fact a little on the heavy side which for me is good because I'm trusting that it will safely and securely hold my projector. I don't want to worry about the mount and the projector tumbling to the floor so this is the right tool for the job! 5 |
