[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My old LG 49” smart tv’s LED backlight burnt out a week before Xmas. This TV was purchased as a replacement and is a wonderful upgrade. Our old LG lasted between 8-10 years so I wasn’t hesitant to buy another LG model. While a slightly smaller TV, the new screen is so much better than my old one - I can’t really notice. The remote upgrade was enough to justify the replacement! LG’s UI and smart TV apps are also a big improvement. 5 |

The last one was broken, so we tried this one and it’s perfect! All you need is the batteries and boom, it’s ready to use. Had no trouble figuring how to use it.
