Update can be done without old CPU with USB flash drive only.

We are using a flash drive to store and playback videos on a portable projector. I tried with a USB 3.0 Flash Drive, thinking the newer version was better. But the projector had a different idea. I learned from the professionals at B+H that this unit requires an older USB 2.0 Flash Drive. I never would have thought of that but sure enough, when I used this Verbatim 64G Ergo USB 2.0, the projector recognized the videos and played them flawlessly.

I've found that it performs as well as the Panasonic brand, for a fraction of the cost. It's a wait and see on the overall life expectancy, but at this price it is easy to have 2-3 spares which can be necessary for such a small battery. I use this in my GX-7 that I carry about when I can't have a full size gear.

I have been buying these OEM cartridges since the printer was new. So far, no issues, other than life expectancy, but that's typical for all laser cartridges/ink jet cartidges, etc...

This drive needed to be formatted and a volume created before I could use it with windows. I use this as a spare game and data drive. I have installed several games on it and they play flawlessly. This isn't the fastest drive you'll find, but if you are upgrading from a HDD you will love this one. You will need a SATA cable and drive power cable available from your power supply. I installed it on my gaming pc tower. I haven't had a single problem with this drive. It is 3d nand technology so there is a life expectancy to them. Important to note for people who are upgrading from a HDD. SSD have a lifetime expectancy so its a trade off. Fast speeds, but limited lifespan.
