Life Hack Computer Chair Running Over Headphone Wire

I use this cable to connect various components to the headphone or mic jacks on my computer. This cable seems to be well made with fairly heavy wire and quality cable ends. I haven't had it long enough to discover how well it will hold up over time, but I expect it last as long as I don't abuse it.

We loaded pictures and all personal files to unload a computer that was running slow. The has given my computer a new life.

Over the years I have used everything but CAT7 wire and connections. Many other plugs state they would work but in the end no good, they are too small for the 22 gauge wire. The Simply45 are more expenise but work every penny with the larger wire. I also bought the boots for them and they make a very secure and professional connector. One thing be aware of you cannot use the standard crimping tools. My Klien crimps will not work, there is a part of the die that deforms the shielded part. You have to use the Simply 45 Tool that B&H has in stock. Everything worth the expense to do things correctly. Everything certified out.

Running great on my computer

I have two pairs of headphones that haven't been used much. Over the years the black earpiece cover slightly denigrated and started flaking off. I recently started using them again and the flakes would get all over my face. But why throw something away when the sound was great. The covers work perfect. Easy to put on and will extend the life of my old favorite headphone!!! In the future I will use them on any new headphone purchase to prolong the integrity of the earpiece. Great idea for cleanliness also.

The sound you'd expect from a more expensive pair of headphones. I'm a bit of a headphone fanatic, but wanted something that would pair well with my mic and Focusrite Scarlett 2i2. While most headphones would do the job, I wanted these to be comfortable but not 100% noise cancelling. These fit that bill perfectly. The collapsible design is a bonus. They sound great - no distortion and are quite responsive to fine tuning adjustments to ensure accurate and quality output. My only concern is the wire from the head pad to each headphone. I'm always afraid I'm going to pull it out. However, this has not been an issue. I should note the wire appears because when you adjust the headphones there is a grooved metal (steel?) adjustment band that is exposed. I like it because they stay put and you aren't constantly having to readjust them. The coiled cable is very long and high quality. The adapter for the plug screws into place to ensure, again, a good connection without any loss of sound quality.

Laptop runs better than the 8 GB that my computer came with that was running.
