Light Grey Headshot Background

I've been using both the grey and white sides of this card for some headshot work I've been doing, and it works really well. The surfaces seem to be just the right texture for the job, and unlike some super cheap versions, they don't seem as if they're going to flake or peel off any time soon. The best thing about it is that it's just so light. I have subjects throw it back to me like a Frisbee when I'm done with the set up shots. The only downside I can think of that that because it folds away into a small circular shape (in a nice sturdy case) it holds a slightly warped shape when it's full size, but I think that's to be expected and doesn't really affect the performance that much. I'm very happy with this purchase.

I ordered a light grey background on amazon that was very dark in person. When I found this background, I was skeptical because the pictures were comparable to the one I ordered previously from amazon. Heard B&H was a reputable company so I went for it...this background looks like it's picture, love it!

I have a small studio for corporate headshot. White background is so easy .. I just have one speed light at the bottom and it’s plenty to have an even white background. It’s amazing for video to. This is everything I hope it would be. And as usual B&H speedy delivery got it to my door in a flash. This is great quality doesn’t feel cheap at all. Best purchase. So if you wonder if you need this ... yes you do... I’m loving mine!

I just used it for my first on-location headshot session. It's absolutely perfect. When used with the lastolite magnetic background support bar, it's so easy to set up and so easy to switch to different colors. I switched back and forth between the white and gray sides. They're simple, and exactly what I was looking for.

This box is huge! 4 foot by 6 foot! Can be used for a high-key headshot background, or as a great soft box to like many things. The quality is nice, and for the size, the price wasn't too bad.

I purchased this pop-up background kit for on-location headshot jobs and it's been great. The gray is a great neutral and isn't transparent so I can light it properly. It's slightly difficult to fold back up when finished, but there are a lot of YouTube videos on how to easily fold up these backgrounds. If I could give any advice on this product, it would be to make sure you have clean hands, and keep oily skin away from the fabric, as it will stain. Otherwise, I love this kit!

I just did my first headshot session using this background and I'm very pleased. I've tried many different backgrounds for location work and never really found anything that I like or that is easy to transport and convenient to use. I'm usually skeptical of 'wrinkle free' claims but I have to say that I unpacked this background, set it up, used some clamps to stretch it between 2 heavy duty stands and I was ready to go. I shot at various apertures from shallow to very small, with my subject about 8 feet from the background, there was no sign of texture, wrinkles or creases. This is a very good alternative to some of the more bulky and expensive solutions. [I received this product in exchange for my honest review.]

I sue this on location headshots. Double sided great for that hi key headshot or the black background. Heavier than I would have expected.
