Light Switch Outlet Extender

Works fine as a outlet. Easy to setup. Would like to be able to turn the light and off with its switch but cannot because the plug is the power source. Always have to use Siri to turn on and off. Not really any problem.

This device works great when used with the Muxlab Extender. I came right out of the extender into a 10 port gigabit POE switch, and ran 5 monitors up to 200ft from the switch to each decoder. You do need a decoder for each monitor. Since the switch was POE I did not have to use the provided power supply for any decoder

This extender is light and compact

This is a fantastic product and a great upgrade to the last version. Primarily I use this extender to turn my 70-200 lens into a 140-400 for wedding and wildlife photography. It should be noted however that adding this will decrease the light by 4 times (2 stops), making my f/2.8 lens into an f/5.6. This decrease in light however is a natural result of increasing the focal length by 2 and is not any worse than doing so in any other means. The Extender III boasts sharper image quality and a new coating to decrease smudges and fingerprints over the Extender II. I have the extender II and have been able to see a difference. If you have a quality L series lens, this newer extender is a must to retain the image quality. If you are working with cheaper or older lenses, you may get away with saving some money an using the older versions (I or II), as you probably won't benefit much from the increase sharpness. All in all, a great product for a reasonable price. Using this extender allows me to not have to buy a separate 400mm lens saving me a great deal of money and space in my gear bag.

Been needing a POE switch to not have to worry about extra cables and a power outlet. Love Ubiquiti products and this did not disappoint.

I had tried some other brand of smart switch and wall outlet are quite cheaper and their are no match with TP-link. Installation is no different from other brand but connecting to home WiFi and stability of connection are really different. I have mainly stay with TP-Link for now.

I really like it. one switch to control my sound system and everything plugs in to the back, nice & neat. with a handy power outlet on the front panel

The 800mm lens will not autofocus with the 2x extender. The workaround that I discovered is to autofocus with a 1.4x extender, switch to manual focus, remove the camera, then swap out the 2x extender instead of the 1.4x extender and re-attach the camera. Has given me spectacular results essentially shooting at 1600mm.

despite the advantage of running 1 cable and powering 3 devices this switch works well as a line extender. I had exceeded the distance of the Ethernet and was only capable of 10 MBS, with this in the middle I was able to get the full transfer rate of the M5 device. No extra cables to put up just cut existing cable and place this inline.

Bought this to attach to a 6E extender intending to consolidate entertainment center device wifi. Don't need the 10g or 2.5g ports right now, but wanted something to future proof my setup. Plugged in TV, Streaming Cable Box, HD DVD player, and Sound Bar. Now cable channels come in much faster and overall range for all wifi is great. Primarily looking for switch that I didn't have to constantly reboot to keep online. Other brands are horrible that way, but not QNAP! Love this switch!!!
