Lightning Adapter Charging Splitter Audio Cable

Got this before realizing there was an adapter that featured the lightning headphone adapter and charging ... but this is useful too!

A few days after obtaining the charging cable we went to Mexico and my boost cable worked perfect. I had no issues with charging my iPhone and the charge was unbelievably quick. I left my device was properly protected and the cable length is great. Finding the right cable these days for me has been a challenge but this Belkin International - BOOST↑CHARGE™ Lightning to USB-A Cable is sturdy, the heads fit the charging ports with no force.

I was given this product in exchange for a fair and unbiased review. The Belkin Lightning Audio + Charge Rockstar fixes what may be the only problem with the iPhone 7 series phones, along with future iPhones - the lack of ability to listen to headphones while charging the phone. The device is very simple to use - you plug it into your iPhone, you plug your charge cable into one side and your headphones or headphone dongle into the other. The iPhone figures out everything else for you, and off you go. Should Apple decide to drop the headphone port on future iPads, this device also has you covered. I was able to charge my 2017 iPad with the 2.4 amp Apple charger while plugged into this dongle at its full charging rate. There are other, cheaper (read - not "MFI-compliant") options out there, but you run into compatibility problems with software updates and quality control issues. For me, the Lightning Audio + Charge RockStar is the only option for charging and listening to wired headphones, as it's MFI compliance guarantees that a future iOS update won't disable it. All in all, this is a good overall product for what it does.

With so many people separated due to the global pandemic and the proliferation of bluetooth wireless earbuds, a headphone cable splitter may seem incredibly pointless. However, I can assure you that it is not. Do I use it so that my many friends can listen to the same video in a quiet house? No. Maybe that's because I don't have any friends (or a quiet house). But I do use it as a substitute for a much more expensive home theater system. I simply connect the included audio cable from my computer's audio out port to the audio in port on my monitor. Then, I connect the audio cable splitter to the audio out port on my monitor, and connect my headphones to one of the five outputs on the splitter. Voila! I can now listen to audio from my computer, my bluray player, and even from an external device such as my phone or MP3 player, without ever needing to unplug or reconnect any audio cables. It's genius, it's remarkable, and it's worked for years without fail. Two thumbs up for this excellent product!

I am currently using this splitter to send my cable video to 2 monitors and send the audio only to a sound bar. The video on both monitors is full HD and the audio is crystal clear at all 3 locations! This splitter solved a problem with my sound bar that kept auto switching to a source with no audio. I liked it so much, I also bought the 1x2 version as well!

This charger had no problem quickly charging an iPhone 8 using a ToughTested USB-A to Lightning cable also purchased from B&H.

I like to use it near my side table by my couch, so I can have my iPhone in a nice charging stand and keep it near me. The cord seems like it will hold up well to use. Nice long length.

The quality of the cord is very thick yet flexible and so much more sturdy and reliable than what Apple provides. It works perfectly between my Mac and iPad and iPhone for both charging and transfers. Also works like a dream for quick car charging! I love how I can roll it up and put it in my pocket or handbag and not worry that it will get a kink in it or get damaged. I know this will outlast my devices for sure! Highly recommend!

This is a well-made adapter. You can never have too many audio cable adapters. You just never know when you'll need it when you are out on a job.
