There are so many fake NP-FW50, it's difficult to tell whether a battery is the real thing. This is important because the fake NP-FW50 units don't last as long and don't work with more current cameras like the NEX-5n (The NEX-5 is usually happy with the fakes). This battery is the real thing. Sony doesn't make it as cheap as they could, but it always works. The battery takes forever to recharge, but other than that, no complaints. 5 |
