Lightning Cable Headphones Review

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the new Rockstar headphones with Lightning connector from Belkin. They come with 3 sized of foam ear cushions and provide a perfect fit in your ears. These headphones are extremely comfortable to ware, even for prolong periods. The sound is exceptional, great range, with clear highs and booming lows. The cord has a mike with + and - buttons for volume and the flat cord prevents tangles.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Full disclosure: I was sent this product to review it. Honestly, it works great for its intended purpose. I was able to charge my phone and connect Lightning headphones at the same time. I didn't notice any difference in sound quality between plugging the headphones into this product or plugging them straight into my iPhone. They also work perfectly with the 3.5 mm to Lightning adapter provided by Apple with my phone. The RockStar feels sturdy and uses Apple's signature look well. If it weren't for the Belkin logo on the Lightning plug, this could easily have been mistaken for something made by Apple. It also couldn't be simpler to use. Plug it into the iPhone and plug your headphones and power cord into either available port. There are only two things I could think of to make this product better. First would have been to have one port be a 3.5 mm jack. I only have the one pair of lightning headphones Apple provided and the adapter. I have a pile of old headphones though. My second thought would have been, if you have two Lightning ports on the adapter, let it be used to plug in two sets of headphones to act as a splitter. This may be a limitation set by Apple and not the product itself, but it would add a level of use to the RockStar. If you use Lightning headphones or 3.5 mm headphones with a Lightning adapter, this is a great product to be able to listen to music while you charge your phone. Personally, I use Bluetooth about 99.9% of the time, but I'm glad I have this product for those times I can't.

The cable is flexible, and is very durable. It has a magnetic clip so that I can put it where I want and it will stay. It does charge my phone a little faster too.

The cord is longer than any charging cord I've had before and feels very heavy duty. I also like that it has a strap to keep it neat when not in use and a magnet to hold in place.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Belkin's -BoostCharge USB-C Cable with Lightning connector, Braided Silicone, 2 meter, with strap + Magnet, Black is a winner in my families book. It seems very durable and 6' is long enough to reach about anywhere. The lightening connector is a great upgrade from the standard connector.

It is long, sturdy and helps charge my phone at lightning speed. I am particularly pleased that the cable does not tangle or kink at all therefore will last longer.
