This is an adapter, NOT a cable. That said, as an adapter it does it's job well. I have used it to plug my iPhone (Lightning) into my PC (both USB-C and USB-A) to transfer files and it worked without a hitch. Useful as an adapter, but not long enough to be called a cable by any means. 5 |

A few days after obtaining the charging cable we went to Mexico and my boost cable worked perfect. I had no issues with charging my iPhone and the charge was unbelievably quick. I left my device was properly protected and the cable length is great. When using an external mic with a TRRS plug on your iPhone mounted in a rig or gimbal that blocks the lightning port, this allows you to use the lightning port without either crimping the cable or moving your iPhone so far away from the rig as to exacerbate balance problems. You only need move your iPhone about 19/32 away from the obstructive gimbal. I could not find any competing products. 5 |

Used this plug (USB C to lightning) to go from Rode Wireless 2 Go to iPhone for in-phone recording of audio/dialog. 100 percent necessary in your setup. It leaves the 3.5 output on the Rode Wireless for headphone monitoring and it's actually better to have your audio going through USB C to lightning. 5 |
