Lightning Cable Tangled Annoying

After using my tripod for a while with wired releases, it got really annoying to deal with the cord and the remote always banging around on the tripod and getting tangled as I walked around with the tripod over my shoulder. My first solution was to purchase the Vello Wireless Shutterboss, which works great... no cords to bang around on the tripod and get tangled, but I still had to put the remote in my pocket, etc. This little gadget is a simple and elegant solution to this issue, and would work well for corded remotes as well. At first, I was a bit worried about it slipping or twisting on my tripod leg, but I'm happy to say that's not an issue at all. The entire elastic strap on the case has rubber grippers all over it. On the relatively leg of my RRS TVC-33 tripod with LensCoat Legcoats, it fits VERY securely and I have zero issues with it sliding around. The Velcro closure seems more than adequate as well. I'm very pleased with the quality and function of this simple little solution to an annoying problem of dealing with remote releases.

Annoying that a standard USB-C to Lightning wouldn't work to connect my Wireless Go II with iOS devices, but this cable does work to do it.

Works well with my on camera monitor. Short cable doesn't get tangled. Stable connection.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My cords tend to get tangled and then fray. I appreciate that this cable is very durable and so far is tangle resistant as it claims. The cable provides a fast charge for both my iPhone and iPad. The magnetic cable strap is a nice touch as well, as it helps store the cord without giving it changes to get caught and/or tangled.

Love this cable. This is the second one I've bought. It works so well. It wraps up well too and doesn't get tangled easily and believe me we try. High quality build. It really stands the test of time when compared to other pre-built cables I've bought.

I use this to connect wireless receiver to my camera and it's a very nice, reliable cable. It has nice connections and the cable is strong and never gets tangled or twisted. It's a simple cable but I've had much worse. StarTech did a nice job on this cable and I ended up buying a second cable to connect my computer to my passive monitor controller.

First time I have used a coiled cable for my equipment needs. Works much better than the usual suspects that are more difficult to keep from getting tangled up.

This little cable works. But it's annoying to have to use an audio adapter for every new standard used by these companies.
