Lightning Cable Vga Adapter Ipad

I wanted the kids to be able to watch YouTube videos on a TV, this adapter made it happen. It was easy to connect my iPad to the television. Just insert the lightning plug into the iPad (or iPhone), connect to the TV via an HDMI cable and connect a lightning charging cable to the adapter and watch. Whatever is on the iPad shows up on the TV. The kids use the iPad as a controller and both can watch full size videos.

Fine..I use it to substitute the way too short Apple adapter for the lightning connection on my iphone and ipad.

This adapter allows me to connect my MacBook to a regular projector. I also needed a vga to vga cable, which I bought here as well.

One of the purposes for this adapter was to connect a USB mouse to my iPad through the lightning connector. Initially, I bought a knock off from Amazon and it wouldn’t work at all until I started doing something manipulating the connectors, particularly the USB connector, and even at that when I got that working And the mouse was mostly working, I couldn’t get the iPad to charge through the device unless I did some more manipulating of the power input connector and the lightning connector going into the iPad. Needless to say, it was hit or miss when I was trying to use it. However, when I got the real Apple adapter, I plugged it in first time worked and I haven’t had any kind of problem with it. Even the mouse works much better response much better with the iPad. So it’s not worth trying to save a few bucks, get the real thing from folks that you know you can trust, B&H Photo.

I have a 6th gen iPad and this adapter connected to the lightning port and to a recent 55 TV. The results were excellent. Nice sharp picture and clean, full audio. Can't do any better than that

I use the Lightning Digital AV adapter along with an IPad to display Keynote presentations on a large screen using an overhead projector. This adapter carries video and sound, giving an incredible picture and sound.

I also ordered Apple Lightning to SD Card Camera Reader, which allows me to put an SD card from point and shoot Canon, Kodak, and Panasonic cameras in so I can import photos easily onto my iPad. Apple Lightning to USB 3.0 Type-A Camera Adapter allows me to add small Thumbdrives / Flashdrives to add storage. In truth the Apple Lightning to USB 3.0 Type-A Camera Adapter is currently unnecessary for me, as I just deleted whatever I don't need on the iPad. There is enough native storage for basic Apps, editing, and writing!!

The Kramer DisplayPort to VGA Adapter Cable has allowed me to still use my NeC MultiSync P221w with the latest computers. It works great.

I have tested this adaptor with a different combination of computers, monitors and projectors without any big issues. The adapter comes in a small box the size of a cell phone but the thickness of two. The box is very difficult to open and the adapter sits in a flimsy tray within the box. The packaging was all wrecked removing the adaptor for the first time. The adapter has a VGA port on one side and the other side has a 3.5mm audio port, HDMI cable and Micro USB-B port. The adaptor says that is doesn't require any power so I am unsure why it has a USB port on. There are no included instructions in the box, on the box or on the web site to provide more information. When I first connected this adaptor to my computer I was shocked how quickly it was working. If I connected the HDMI port first to my computer then almost instantly of connecting a monitor the video and sounds were working. If I connect the VGA cable first, then audio and video start within 3 to 4 seconds as does any normal HDMI monitor. The sound and picture from this dongle were crisp, clear and without any delay. When I first played copy protected content (i.e. Netflix) the dongle stopped working and I had to disconnect then reconnect and it started working again. I have not been able to reproduce this issue since but I thought it would be worth noting. This adaptor starts working very quickly. I had doubts about converting HDMI to analog but my mind has been changed since using this adaptor. I received this product in exchange for an unbiased review.

This is a really nice VGA adapter. The cable length is longer than most, and so in a sea of cables and peripherals, i find it particularly easy to use.
