Lightning Cable Wires

So happy not to have to use cable / bye bye to all of those cables and wires!!

Pearstone 4-Slot Silicone Cable Organizer, these are simple and effective cable organizers. The back of it is an adhesive strip that gives you mounting location versatility. This can be used to organized wire runs. However, I think it is most effective using it on the edge of your desk/table the loop can fit wires of numerous size and the best thing is the prevents the wires from falling down from the desk. Others may have noted this. There is now an SC-15 (USB-C to Lightning) cable in the box.

I needed a short cable to access the two 5 Volts wires out of a USB port on my computer. I cut the cable (chopped off the angle connector) and connected (soldered) to the Red and Black wires. What I did is simple and it works but I was also impressed by the quality of the cable; the cut exposes full and even shielding and well insulated very flexible stranded conductors. If anyone does the same, make sure that you use cable clamps to avoid pulling on the wires.

Replacement because the wires get wrapped around the transmitter by people trying to be neat and they damage the cable. Very nice to be able to just replace the mic w cable.
