Lightning Effect Razer Keyboard

I use this for my USB headphones, razer blackwidow keyboard , Razer deathadder mouse and so much more I added to it and it's coming up now on two years in Feb, having this and been thinking of buying another

love this keyboard a lot its more comfortable than my razer v3 mini.

Many color. Perfect for lightning effect

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Purchased to replace a defective Razer keyboard. I have been very impressed with the responsiveness and feel of the keys. This keyboard is great for playing games and also pleasant to type on and not as loud as a mechanical board. It also has a pretty impressive heft to it, so it does not slide around one's desk.

I used this light source to yield a lightning effect which I bounced off a window shade. It really looks like it is storming outside. I haven't had to use the police car effect but it too is realistic.

I read a few other reviews and decided to try this light because it seemed to offer a good build quality and a feature set and performance marks I could only find in lights costing at least a thousand more. I've been able to use the light now on a shoot and I can say that so far I'm quite happy with it. Having the full RGBWW spectrum is new for me, and having essentially a limitless set of gels has opened up a new realm of creativity.   My only critiques would be regarding the menu system and effects. The menu system is easy enough to figure out, but operating feels a tad slow. Also, while some of the built-in effects seem like they could be handy if I ever have a need for them, many of them seem to lack realism. They should have an element of randomness to them, but none of them do. You can set how frequently the effect plays, but it's a steady play. For example, paparazzi and even lightning don't seem to be any different from strobe. I can't imagine using the lightning effect for a real shoot, as it would appear the lightning is coming at a VERY steady interval. Even the police car lacks realism as it is essentially just a simple blue or red strobe, whereas real emergency vehicles tend to have more of a double-flash to each interval. The 'firelight' is basically a steady orange soft-strobe. Again it needs some randomness and flicker to actually sell the effect. It would be great if they could improve these effects with a future firmware update.

installed these into a razer pro 17 because Razer only gives you 16gb. So i went with OWC and its working great.

I could not find a better keyboard that fits my needs. The RGB lightning was a bonus especially in yhe dark. The keyboard is also comfortable to type. I also liked that it has a volume control. I'm very satisfied with my purchase.
