Lightning Iphone Charger With 6 Ft Cable

This charger had no problem quickly charging an iPhone 8 using a ToughTested USB-A to Lightning cable also purchased from B&H.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Braided USB-C to Lightning Cable (6 ft) works great for charging my cell phone. I like to use it near my side table by my couch, so I can have my iPhone in a nice charging stand and keep it near me. The cord seems like it will hold up well to use. Nice long length.

I use this to connect anything with a standard headphone cable to my iPhone Lightning port (older selfie stick, older Square reader, earbuds and headphones).

The killer app for this device (for me) was that connecting the receiver to an iPhone with the usb-c to lightning cable maintains discrete stereo separation for recording to several video applications. Tested working on ProMovie and MoviePro. The magnets are very capable of holding the transmitters onto a shirt during vigorous activity.   )) significant note: Noise cancellation only works when conveying the signal through the receiver to a camera or smart phone.

This is an adapter, NOT a cable. That said, as an adapter it does it's job well. I have used it to plug my iPhone (Lightning) into my PC (both USB-C and USB-A) to transfer files and it worked without a hitch. Useful as an adapter, but not long enough to be called a cable by any means.

In order to use my old iPhone 5c with the Rode Micro microphone, this cable was necessary. I adapted it to my iPhone 7 lightning port as a test and it didn't work. I didn't investigate because the plan was to use the mic with the old phone anyway, so it might have worked and could have been my set up.

i purchased this charger from Walgreens when they still kept them in stock, but stopped a month later. i purchased the 9.8ft (3meter) length cable and has worked perfectly for me since. that was 5 years ago maybe even going on 6 now and the only "issue" I'm having now is the sheath at the base of the connector is tearing and exposing the wiring and sometimes causing it not to charge but a quick and easy fix and not a big deal considering it was bound to happen since i started using my phone more when charging but was always careful not to bend the cable too much as much as i could but sometimes i forgot or other people used my cable. all in all once this great cable dies on me i plan to get another one, but here is to seeing another few years out of it.
