Lightning Music Dock Cable

A few days after obtaining the charging cable we went to Mexico and my boost cable worked perfect. I had no issues with charging my iPhone and the charge was unbelievably quick. I left my device was properly protected and the cable length is great. Finding the right cable these days for me has been a challenge but this Belkin International - BOOST↑CHARGE™ Lightning to USB-A Cable is sturdy, the heads fit the charging ports with no force.

I use this product to carry my lightning shutter acctuator and cable and it fits perfect.

I use my 2017 iMac for music composition and recording. I wanted to connect a fast USB 3.0/Lightning hard drive to be online with the iMac all the time to use as a dedicated hard drive for music recording. I have a USB audio interface and MIDI keyboard controller connected all the time to the iMac and I found that the four iMac USB host ports were completely occupied when doing a Time Machine backup to another USB 3.0 external hard drive, so I wanted to move my dedicated music hard drive (G-Technology G Drive Mobile 1 TB USB 3.0/Lightning drive) to a Lightning 3 port on the iMac. I wanted to utilize a Lightning 3 port and also to free up a USB 3.0 host port. The Apple Thunderbolt 3 Male to Thunderbolt 2 Female Adapter allows me to do just that. The adapter powers the Lightning drive and provides fast I/O with no fuss.

When I upgraded to my iphone 7, I had to use a dock to listen to music and charge at the same time. The dock did not work with a couole of the cases I tried, and I prefer to have my phone in the landscape position at night when going to sleep listening to tunes. Enter the Belkin Rockstar. There are some shoddy imitations, but Belkin works and I did not want to trust my iPhone power to an unknown. I have come to find that Belkin products are top quality- they just plain work!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am pretty impressed with the Google Pixel Tablet and Charging station with its sound bar. Set up is easy, the tablet is set up like any other tablet and phone. All you do is run through their prompts and you are done. With the charging station and sound bar, all you do is plug it in. Lastly, just place the tablet onto the charging station and have it hold through it's magnetic dock. Since we set it up in the kitchen, I was a little worried about bumping the tablet and have it continuously fall from the dock but it holds really well. It's very stable and I no longer think about being more careful around it. The speaker sets this combo apart. When I first played music from it, both my wife and son commented on how clear and impressed they were from the sound. My wife likes to have music playing in the house and this has become the primary device for playing music now. I also like how this can be used as smart device. I've been using this to get the daily weather, a kitchen timer, basic info and more. It is nice to have a tablet handy instead of always using my phone to pull up stuff. The family and myself can just grab the tablet when needed and everyone has been returning the tablet to it's dock afterward since that is the primary charging source. One thing I'd like to note is that my son has adopted this as a gaming device. With its great sound and large tablet display, he figured out he can connect his controller up to it and play his favorite game on it. I'd definitely recommend this tablet and charging station (w/ speaker) to anyone looking or a tablet or home smart device. This is one the whole family can enjoy.

I have had the iPhone dock, (CD200i) and it was great until the iPhone 4s became obsolete. The Bluetooth in this machine is a great option. We use this in a music classroom situation and the teacher loves it.

So easy to use and lightning quick speed with a Ethernet cable. Absolutely love it.

Others may have noted this. There is now an SC-15 (USB-C to Lightning) cable in the box.
