Works well. Using USB C connection transfer to a usb c ssd on another usb c port. Lightning fast. 550Gb in 13 minutes.

This does the job and does it well. It's helpful that it connects via lightning port and USB, I can go back and forth between my computers with ease.

I use my 2017 iMac for music composition and recording. I wanted to connect a fast USB 3.0/Lightning hard drive to be online with the iMac all the time to use as a dedicated hard drive for music recording. I have a USB audio interface and MIDI keyboard controller connected all the time to the iMac and I found that the four iMac USB host ports were completely occupied when doing a Time Machine backup to another USB 3.0 external hard drive, so I wanted to move my dedicated music hard drive (G-Technology G Drive Mobile 1 TB USB 3.0/Lightning drive) to a Lightning 3 port on the iMac. I wanted to utilize a Lightning 3 port and also to free up a USB 3.0 host port. The Apple Thunderbolt 3 Male to Thunderbolt 2 Female Adapter allows me to do just that. The adapter powers the Lightning drive and provides fast I/O with no fuss.

I use this adapter to connect an external hard drive to my Samsung Galaxy Tab S. Tablets only have mini usb ports. To use an external or any other device that uses a usb port, you'll need this adaptor. I also recommend getting an adapter that has a mini USB port on the adapter so you can keep your tablet charging while you use it with the USB device.

I had an older 5th gen iPad mini that used the older 1st gen lightning-based Apple Pencil. The battery in my pencil finally died, so I needed a new one. It was a bit confusing as to whether this pencil was the correct replacement, since it mentions USB-C, rather than lightning, but I can confirm that this is indeed the 1st gen lightning-based pencil, that just happens to have a lightning to USB-C adapter mentioned in the product title.

Works great on the USB-C/Thunderbolt port on the Mac Mini M1 to get a second display.

Works great with a new laptop with USB C. Wish there was a way to power it with something like a power injector and a mini display port output on an older Macbook Pro.

The ports are nicely made and the plugs fit in smoothly. My favorite thing is that the plug into the hub is built in, so you’ll never lose it. It just pulls open and closed easily.I plan to use this with my phone and many other devices, which will better facilitate not having cords everywhere. This is an awesome item which will help many stay organized with their electronics. 

Best bang for the buck. USB (standard + mini) charge port on the front of UPS is a great feature.
