This cable makes super-fast data transfers. I hooked it up to my Xcellon M2NS USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 M.2 SSD Enclosure and was very impressed with the speeds it provided. This cable and an M.2 drive are a match made in heaven and give blazing speeds. It also rated for 8k or dual 4k monitor support which is fantastic. Another nice plus is it is rated to handle 240w power delivery so it can be used to charge or power most accessories (laptops, peripherals etc.). This cable is definitely future proof and ready for whatever you throw at it, including the ability to daisy chain up to 6 additional devices. It is designed to work with Thunderbolt 4, Thunderbolt 3, and USB-C so it is very versatile. The build quality is also fantastic. Cable feels great and is flexible but still sturdy. This is the M.2 GEN 3 model that ranks 1st in performance by Userbenchmark for what it's worth ..... and in over 15 years now, B&H has never disappointed me.

Been a user of various Samsung Pro SSD's for a number of years, now, and this one is the biggest one yet. Plugged into our laptop, along with a 512GB M.2 Samsung Pro boot drive, it works flawlessly. So far, all of the half-dozen or so Samsung SSD's we've installed are still providing speedy, good performance. Coupled with Samsung's Magician software, we can see how the drive performance is holding up over time, and stay on top of any serious drive issues that arise (so far, that number is zero!). If you need a good sized, fast, and small M.2 drive, this one is a keeper, and highly recommended! And, of course, you can't do better with B&H's stellar selection, speedy deliver, and fabulous customer service!

The first step was installing it in a Sabrent model EC-PCIE NVMe M.2 SSD TO PCIe X16/X8/X4 CARD WITH ALUMINUM HEAT SINK (which I DO NOT recommend). That was so this Oyen M.2 SSD could be used in a PCI-e slot. (Basically the problem with the Sabrent adapter was that none of the thermal pads were the right thickness, and there was no guidance on their usage in the instructions. I took my best guess and moved on.) The next step was plugging it into a PCI-e slot on my HP Z640 Workstation's motherboard. I then updated my PC to the latest BIOS. When I booted into Windows 10, I didn't see a new drive. That's because I needed to use the WIndows Disk Management tool to create a partition and then a volume. After that, the drive was visible and usable.

I'm using it as an external drive with ACASIS NVMe Dock M.2 to USB C 3.2 GEN2(10Gbps) Docking Station. Just make sure to replace the original cable with a better quality one.

Installation of my 2 TB M.2 NVMe memory was easy and tool-free as advertised. Took all of a minute, much of which was reading directions, just to be safe. Took only another minute to then format the memory for use with my Mac OS. Love having so much memory in such a light weight package, for use in backing up my photos when on the road with my camera. Only slight nit is that it comes only with USB-C cable, so I need an adaptor when using with older USB ports, but it still works just fine with the adaptor I have.
