Lightroom Is Running Slow

Now I can run Lightroom, Photoshop and plug-ins at the same time without waiting or any slow downs! Now if I only knew how to upgrade my processor.

This external hard drive is great for storage. It is a little slow when working off of it using Lightroom/Photoshop on my Macintosh, but I'm ok with that.

I have a home studio and my laptop was getting low on memory and slow when it came to loading and running things chilled etc...

Product code and download for Photoshop and Lightroom. I had both programs up and running within minutes of purchase. I was emailed the code and links to download both. I am very happy with both programs.

This little puppy made is a snap to quickly shoot when tethered to our computer running lightroom. Since it was 10 feet long, it gives us plenty of area to work. Seems to be built well. Good buy.

This cable is pretty great. I use it to tether my computer running EOS utility 3 and Adobe Lightroom to my Canon EOS 80D for remote shooting. Unlike other cables I have bought in the past, this one seems to stay in my camera very well.

Bought the iPad Pro to replace an older iPad Air. Running Lightroom and Photoshop for iPad I've noticed a huge increase in performance, especially with Photoshop. No regrets selecting the 11" over the 12.9 version. The 11" is the perfect size to carry around and to hold on your lap while editing. The price at B&H was less than at most other stores and delivery was as promised.

I just received my printer and got it up and running on my MacBook within a few minutes. The link to the driver download was easy to find and the instructions were clear and accurate. Lightroom was able to find the printer but I did notice that colour adjustments are better done through Lightroom or in the camera rather than using the colour adjustments on the printer. The quality of the print, and the ease of use is identical to the Hiti P510s.

Because this drive is fast enough, I am running the Lightroom catalog directly from it rather than my computer hard drive. So far it has been flawless transferring more than 1 TB of photos quickly.

Took the plunge to catalog and digitize my nearly 15k pictures in Lightroom CC. I'm now running 64GB of RAM and while it does not make up for LR CC lag, my Mac Pro is noticabley healthier. The way I look at it, it's cheaper and better for the environment if I can keep this old girl running. This memory upgrade will help me do just that.
