Lightroom Photo Template

Fantastic, and it is my main backup of my Lightroom photo, and documents.

I learned about the Hahnemuhle photo cards recently and tried them in the Baryta Satin paper, wanting to use them as holiday gifts for a handful of people. The process requires download of a PDF template from Hahnemuhle, which must be printed on letter-size card stock. You'll also need removeable photo adhesive from B&H or an art supply store. The photo cards are tack-mounted to the template, run through your photo printer one at a time. They can be removed immediately as the photo cards are instant drying. The process takes some time, and will likely require getting familiar with it and what settings work best in your software (I print from Photoshop and Capture One), but once you have it down, they'll go quickly. This photo card stock is quite absorbent so some deeply saturated colors will require adjustment in your editing app to avoid printing in a more muted tone. Black and white prints look gorgeous on this stock. Try this product, it is a different way to present your prints.

I use these to back up my photo files after they have been processed in lightroom. I like them better than burning to DVDs and they work as expected.

I use this drive for photo storage, interfacing with two Macs using Lightroom. Fast drive, plenty of storage for JPEG and RAW, so far. No problems. I would easily buy this again.

I now have three of these gems, two 1TB and a 2TB models. One I used to backup my photo laptop, one I used for the Lightroom catalog, and the last I use to hold photos I shoot when I'm on the road. No issues, and I like the look of durability.

Printer: Canon PIXMA PRO-100 Ink: Canon OEM Software: Lightroom 6.8 I've been printing photos with my own printer for a month and this was the first photo paper I've experienced. Over the course of that month I have printed this Canon Luster paper, Canon Photo Paper Plus Glossy II and Canon Photo Paper Pro Matte. I wanted to see the difference between all three papers so I printed the same photo from Lightroom to each paper type. The results were exactly as you would expect. However, when I showed off the photos at a family party the unanimous favorite was the Luster paper. I asked why and the consensus was the Matte photo didn't look or feel like a photo when held. Glossy was considered too reflective by almost everyone. I myself prefer the Matte photos but I've come away impressed with the results this paper delivers. If you like to give copies of your photos to friends or family this is the finish everyone expects and the image quality is exceptional.

I was torn between this and the Pro, and the two sizes. I'm really happy I went with the 13. It's just great for photo editing in LightRoom, and it also gives me a lot more space in Logic. Everything is just much easier to work with when it's not as cramped as on the smaller size. It also still fits into all my bags, so it's easy enough to take with me. I got a very thin Paperlike cover (and also their screen protector for better feel with the Pencil), and it doesn't feel bulky at all.

I bought this to store my Lightroom catalog and photo library so I could switch between computers. It's fast and performs well for this purpose. It seems to run cool. As always, purchase form B&H did not disappoint.
