This drive is very fast. I keep my Lightroom catalog on it and can use the catalog wherever I go. At the moment there are over 100,000 previews on it and I can view my photos without having to have the originals. The USB connector collapses into the body for protection and there is a positive stop when extended to prevent it from withdrawing while trying to put it in your USB port. There is also a hole at the back end enabling you to attach it to your keychain or the like. I am very satisfied. 5 |

I like a lot of the new features, but so far I can't find a way to view my photos on my computer as Lightroom and photoshop really are updated to this new card. I am anxious to look at what it does, so I am disappointed I can view them yet. That has nothing to do with its quality just an issue right now that is disappointing. I sure want to check out how good the higher ISO photos turn out. So if anyone has suggestions or a timetable as to when Adobe is going to update to the new format, I am all ears. I can look at photos one at a time, but they are all jpeg files that show and when you do action and burst shooting its not the way to go. But I am anxious to see what it does. I know lots of jumping ship, but I am a Canon guy through and through. 5 |

So Is the Vanguard Endeavor ED II 8x32 Better? No. the original Vanguard ED 8x32 is better. Why? Because 1) except when the EDII's yellowish coatings are cutting haze at long distances or occasional flare, it is sharper and more detailed, 2) it has more neutral color rentions, and 3), and most importantly, it has the relaxed viewing quality of the best Swarovski's, with uniform sharpness throughout its sweet spot or field of view, free from the sensed tensions from a conflicted optical formula, but it is also sharper and more detailed than the Swarovski's across its field of view, and more like the Zeisses in the latter regard. I still recommend the original ED. And for $250, it is a ridiculously cheap purchase. You won't want to stop looking through them unless you live on a prairie where there is simply nothing to see. 5 |

I have an original Nexus 7 tablet that I wanted to use to view my recently taken photos. I wanted somthing other than a laptop. I bought a mirco-USB OTG cable and downloaded the Nexus Media Importer. With this flash reader, I can now plug the SD card from the camera into the reader, connect the reader to the tablet with the OTG cable and view my pictures on the tablet. Very nice for sharing. By removing the pictures from the camera, I do not have to power the camera to view them. I take DNG RAW pictures and they appear instantly as I move from one to the other. This arrangement works very well! 5 |

The Q2M provides a stunningly clear view into the world. It is as if it fulfills the intent of the Q concept. The images are crisp and clear and a joy to work with - in B&W of course (RAW). I generally shoot B&W landscapes or documentary style and the Q2M will be a pleasure to shoot with for a long time to come. Now, all other cameras with color sensors only will be disappointing to convert to B&W. I dream of a Monochrom SL2 with the 24-90mm lens to complement with Q2M. If you shoot B&W and are comfortable with the 28mm focal length the Q2M will not disappoint. Also, I still have the original Q and the Q2 case, EVF and design are improvements over the original Q. 5 |
