Line Photography Element

...In that every element of it just FEELS top-of-the-line, expensive, and well-designed. It feels fantastically solid, durable, and well-made. Fittings are all perfect, and performance is absolutely as expected. Haven't had any cause to use the 3-year warranty, but having it there is certainly reassuring!

An essential element of any kit is a spare battery and this battery does the job and arrived almost instantly from B & H, the greatest photography store I've dealt with.

This is a go-to lens for real estate photography. Perfect lines, gorgeous color, lots of room to shoot in natural light, especially with bracketed shots. It's a tiny bit technical, (i.e., tilt must be locked in place to keep focus throughout the image, rotation needed to capture panoramas without distortion, manual focus only), but that's part of the fun. It's impossible to use a hood AND get this wide an angle of view, so be careful moving from position to position, especially through doorways as the round lens element is exposed. With the lens attached, the camera doesn't lay flat on its side and the cap is plastic, so I store the lens on-camera with the camera on it's back (lens element facing up).

Enjoy shopping at B&H Photography. The customer service is great and I never had any problems with my on-line orders.

If you respond to this lens ... there’s a chance you’ve got the IQ that really counts in photography ... it’s not measured in line per millimeter ... and by the way, it’s no slouch in that regard either. Here’s some advice ... spend a year never allowing yourself to view anything you shoot at less than 300 dpi on your monitor. You’ll be ready for this lens.

I am new to studio photography, and find the Impact line of equipment to be sturdy and well made, and looking as though it will last a lifetime. The price is reasonable and the build quality fantastic. C stands and accessories are heavy and awkward to use, but that's good they are supposed to be because that's what makes them the studio help mates they are designed to be. I use this grip arm constantly and cannot imagine my studio without it. Highly recommended.

I recently thought about and referred to this developer while writing a comment on an analog photography website. I went on-line out of curiosity to see if it is still available. Lo and behold, here it is! I remember getting some amazing results many years ago with Acufine and Ilford FP4 at ISO 250. Tonality and sharpness were incredible. There was no to minimal increase in grain. I am thinking about becoming re-acquaited with an old friend.

Been using this item for both photography and video. I can say for a wide angle lens, it does keep a straight line (zero d), but do keep in mind that you still have to frame your shot in accordance to angles.
